Where can I find a how to video for this? 100% sure this will cost my first born to fix just like the deathbed issue that ford doesn't view as a safety issue.

Hi Julie, there are tons of videos on here that discusses how to remove the top liner to access the sunroof motor but actually... it's not expensive at all :-) Don't buy retail. If you need a helper I'm more than happy to provide you with instructions to access which is very easy. Shoot me an email at [e-mail] and let me know it's you. I'll do a write up for you if you need one.

My motor works sometimes, but not always - would you say that a motor replacement is the right fix? Anything else it could be in my case?

How much do the motor and touch screens usually cost

Hi Baba. It's normally around $75 for the roof motor and the screens is VERY expensive. You can simply find one from another yard for around $200 compared to almost $500+ from the dealer and that's USED not new.

you showed no one how you accessed the motor, all you did was plug your mobile mechanic service. 4 minutes that i wont get back. SMDH

Nowhere in this video is it labelled "How to access a sunroof motor for a 2014 Ford Explorer" nor does my channel say this is a How-to channel. You clearly see where it's located. In the future, be more respectful and simply just ask :-). I'm more than happy to explain in greater detail.

He just mad cuz he to stupid to have any common sense and watch the video you clearly see the motor on the roof over driver seat duhhhhhhh or he probably so mad his sunroof open or stuck close and cant open or close it lol
