youre saying wrong , during inheritence when acess specifier is public , the public members of base class are public in derived class but the protected members of base class are also protected in derived class , not public as said by you . dont teach wrong content and create confusion!!! this is checked from gfg if you doubt

Protected type is specially for the derived class if we apply protected to any member and function of class it will be always accessible by the derived class beacuse protected define that it will access by derived class only.
