Considering the style/genre of content you reacted to here, I'd recommend reacting to - Martins "EXPANDING to Space in Factorio" (which unfortunately is a "to be continued" situation with confirmation on his stream a while ago that no continuation of that savefile will be possible), - maybe even the Factorio Space Exploration videos by "DoshDoshington", he isn't as high-action as other KZbinrs but the amount of time and effort invested into his videos is impressive nonetheless.

great video, I liked how you took the time to explain some of the concepts and the talk about red/blue shift was good and the electronics hang symbol thing was funny. I'm also glad that you waited until the video explained it to elaborate as that somewhat bothered me in previous videos, it's great that you're able to get just get into what's shown and not trying to analyse it constantly making it a joy to watch. A request I guess I have but no idea how much appeal it'd have here; Gunbuster science lessons. An anime from the 80s made up their own physics and dealt with a lot of concepts that... was while not correct just incited me to learn more about the universe, the anime itself is only six episodes but alongside those six episodes they released six 2-3 minute in-universe 'science lessons' with the reasoning the main characters are attending a school. They're on youtube if you search it but Japanese dubbed... but just hearing your thoughts about what's presented there would be cool. Great video and cannot wait to see more.

Some information on bullet velocities because the statement that 908m/s is reaching the uper velocity of what is posible is plain wrong. A modern tank round achieves over 1600 m/s. Reaching 1800 to 2200 m/s is what is currently the limit for practical weapons though faster speeds have been achieved. Experimental gas powered guns are in the ball park of 2800 m/s. Specialized guns called cold gas guns used in research reach 6000 - 7000 m/s

KSP-2 is not an INDI game. KSP (1) used to be back in the day. The rights to all the properties of KSP have been bough by Take-Two a long time ago. KSP-2 was origininally developed by an small indipentend studio (Star Theory Games) which had been given a contract by Take Two. While KSP-2 was in developent Take-Two went back on the contract and proceded to Poach (or try to) the revelevant developers from Star Theory Games. These news broke over social media, including for the employees in question. Star Theory Games didnt survive this incidend and went out of buisness 3 months later. Calling KSP-2 an INDI and implying a sort of grass roots origin of the project is absurt.

"Indie developers truly are the saving grace of gaming right now." I agree with that, but... Kerbal Space Program was bought years ago by Take-Two, the owners of GTA and the eighth largest game company in the world, and is being developed by an internal studio. I'll love KSP forever and I'm cautiously interested in KSP2, but it is no longer a scrappy small franchise. KSP2 will deserve all the scrutiny due an AAA game, especially since "early access" is starting at 50 USD. (The original KSP, the original devs started by charging 7 in early access.)
@zeallust85422 жыл бұрын
Still an indie game. The sequel technically wont be, but this one is.
@IstasPumaNevada2 жыл бұрын
@@zeallust8542 True. However he said "right now"; KSP started sales to the public nearly _ten years ago_ so I presumed he's talking about the upcoming KSP2, given the context. And it's too easy for people's minds to transpose the indie nature of the first onto the upcoming second game, so I just want to remind people that it's being made by a gigantic publisher that bought the franchise as an investment, not a passion project.
@zeallust85422 жыл бұрын
@@IstasPumaNevada Ah, I get what youre saying now. You right. Hopefully KSP2 wont be too butchered by money grubbing parent companies. But if its going to be 50usd for early access (I hadnt heard that before, is that what theyre doing?) Then id be definitely hesitant.
