" but really the deeper takeaway for me was that the anime was a close look into the difficulties young adults have when transitioning into adulthood and responsibility and how different people take in that new experience

Sonny Boy was so unique and had so many different ideas. Honestly, they could have expanded any part of the anime and made ANY section it's own full series. Instead, it sorta jumps around from one disjointed section to the next. I love it, but I craved so much more, and I felt it moved on to other parts too early.

You are correct c: What I also found out is that it also translates to "sparse" or "unusual" depending on the context. My favorite translation is "Rare" (aside from hope), because that's what she was. I think the essence of her name suits her and what she stood for in the story. She was a rare gem of hope. Sonny Boy broke my heart 😭
