How benevolent can the gods be. If they need the prattle of mortals. To justify their being. Believing That there exist no salvation. Unless their Divinity intervenes. And that Only salvation through belief in them. As well as blind faith given away devoutly. Will satiate earthly needs. Keeping the fear within believers. To cleave unto those to which they pray and plead. As earthbound preachers scream. “These are the words of the almighty. For the Heavenly Father inhabits the rocks that line the mortal seas. And that those who refuse to worship, will crash against them. Because they dared not believe. That a new world shall come to be. As the old one passes.” Their God guaranties. For the world shall burn in fire and blood. Smoldering till its all but debris. Bringing the purity of oblivion. To a world that should have lived on its knees. And from the ashes of this world. God will build a better one. But Those who see logic, try to speak sense. However a zealots beliefs they’d dare not leave. For who cares about their petty judgments. They strain from brains to meager. To comprehend their Gods reality. And resistance only delays the inevitable. For a belief that is eternal. Can never be defeated. Not by Human beings for they’re a species with great power. Yet they detest that they owe their existence. To those they’d see as beasts. For evolution is remarkable. And is proven to be. As far beyond Gods. As people wish Gods were beyond human beings. THE NEED TO BELEIVE ------------------------- QUOTES “Their exist no freedom from me. Their is only freedom through me.” (Apocalypse) Cleave unto me and know the joy of eternal darkness. (Apocalypse) “I am the rocks of the eternal shore. I am impressed.
@knightofarkronia996819 күн бұрын
Actually, it’s more than that. This scene takes place in the distant future that Cable calls home, meaning that the Apocalypse that we see here is one that managed to outlive the X-Men in spite of their best efforts. And yet, even with his godlike power, even after literal millennia of warfare and conquest, even after every foe that he has managed to slay, there are still those who fight to make sure that he doesn’t remake the world in his twisted image. At this point, even an immortal being like Apocalypse would start getting fed up.

@@tarikcollins778 Is pondering a question for 10 seconds without feeling depressed about it, really considered a crisis though? Doesn't seem like it to me, but it depends on how you interpret the definition. And he didn't stop what he was doing, he simply looked for a new solution to accomplish his goal. Unless you're simply talking about taking out cable, but cable was obsolete. An insect is insignifcant and his chamber became irrelevant too, because he can now time travel. So there was no need to protect his chamber anymore. Had nothing to do with his realization between the balance of good and evil that didn't allow him to win.

He wasn't depressed. He simply realized that perhaps fate was working against him.
