Love this episode. Archangel just obsessed with killing apocalypse. Rogue torn between helping out a cause and supporting her team. Gambit in the end, helping out a guy that (in his mind) is trying to rip off his girl. The constant teamwork. An unbeatable enemy. This episode is pure gold.

It’s worth pointing out that Apocalypse isn’t trying to kill the X-Men; his whole ideology is survival of the fittest, he’s constantly pushing them so they’re always at their peak strength. If I remember correctly, this version of Apocalypse was so strong the only way they defeated him was to trap him in the end of time or something. I miss when Apocalypse was an actual threat; however, nowadays he has been heavily nerfed and just granted him true immortality.
