I purchased one of these for my wife to be the companion to my Gotway 84 volt MSX and we couldn't be happier. On the second day we took it out for a 26 mile ride at an average of 17mph(riding) and came out with approximately 40% battery left. I geared up and took it through the paces as well. All I can say is that the acceleration is amazing. Like, hold on for dear life fast. We are very pleased with this thus far and I have to say that your review is spot on.

Excellent review. I really appreciated the effort you took in producing this video review. The content was delivered in a very systematic manner, video editing was perfect, and the content was not overwhelming with just the right amount of graphs to provide a very useful comparison to the viewer against how it stacks up to market competitors. Thank you for doing multiple range tests at various speeds, this was very informative and exactly what I needed as I am planning to commute to work and my round trip is 30km (~19mi) and contains a couple of steep hill climbs, so I was a little suspicious of the range of the Ghost, but your review has reassured me that the Ghost will have no problems with my commuting requirements, especially as we are limited to 25 km/h (~15 mi/h). Keep up the excellent work and looking forward to checking out your other reviews.

I don't really notice what you said about the steering although I haven't gone 30 miles yet.I got it yesterday and I'm loving this scooter. One thing though, I started out using gear 3 but decided on using #2. The top speed is the same but take off acceleration is more manageable. Number 3 the throttle is way to sensitive. You have to have a really sensitive touch or you'll get thrown off the scooter.

Apart from having Dynavolt battery, isn't this scooter basically same as all other scooters based on VDM-10? Both Bolzzen Dynamo and Dragon Raptor all the identical.
@eRideHero3 жыл бұрын
To my knowledge, that is correct. Titan is the factory behind the design used for a wide range of Zero, Apollo, TurboWheel, Varla (amonst other brands) scooters. It's something you generally see a lot in this industry so at times it comes down to who has the best deal or best after-sales support. The Phantom is Apollo's first complete own design.

Great review. Have you gotten any flats? Unfortunately all these reviews seem to take place in the flatlands and not in hilly territory like where I live.
@eRideHero3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Fred. I have not gotten any flats thus far, but as I constantly get new products to review, I don't have the time to ride products that much after the review process is done. I'd say I've done about 200 km on the Ghost since this video - still rides wonderfully. But with any scooter with pneumatic tires, it's more a question of "when" rather than "if" you'll get a flat tire. It's the payoff of the improved ride quality sadly.

Great review. I like the charts, measurements, and the money 💰 breakdowns. You have perfectly smooth roads so you didn't experience the notorious flat tires about this model. FYI the OEM/ODM model name is VDM-10. Thanks
@eRideHero3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Indeed we have. Roads are generally quite nice here in Denmark (and our country is extremely flat so it's hard to find inclines that'll actually be a challenge for a beast like this). And that is correct - the model name is indeed VDM-10.
@WHITELIONNYC3 жыл бұрын
@@eRideHero thanks I SUBBED! Do you plan on comparing this to the Phantom, oem name Dual Pro? I think VDM-10 is better bang for the buck. The Dual Pro costs 1.4x more and it does have nice upgrades the performance is almost exactly the same. Do you know if there is good aftermarket front fender so the water doesn't get on the deck?

The Ghost now has a hydraulic break option, but it costs extra. Did you find that the regular brakes had any trouble stopping the unit ? In other words, would the extra $200 be worth it for the hydraulic breaks (just normal riding around) ?
@eRideHero3 жыл бұрын
I personally love hydraulic brakes for how smooth they feel. Generally, they're more expensive but also more efficient and it's easier to make small braking adjustments. But the two mechanical brakes on the Ghost have excellent stopping power. Both types will get you stopping safely, but hydraulic ones do feel smoother. Whether it's worth the $200 comes down to personal preference and budget. If you feel bad about stretching your budget an additional $200, you should rest assured the standard ones will get the job done perfectly fine.

No surprise the Ghost is compared to the zero 10x, per the info I have, they are made by the same company in the same factory, as is the Vsett and a few other scooters. Make a few cosmetic changes, put on some different labels and you have a 10x in disguise. As a zero 10X owner I have no problem with this, however, had to laugh recently when I saw a complaint about a 10x where the reviewer said he wished he had gotten a more reliable Vsett.
@eRideHero3 жыл бұрын
Yes, without a doubt. It seems to be how the industry works at the moment. But huge props to Apollo for pushing forward by making their own design with the Phantom. It requires a lot of funds and it's a big risk from a business standpoint. I think we'll see more brands with unique designs rather than OEMs in the future as the e-scooter market grows.

Apollo has horrible after purchase customer service. If your scooter got issues and you need to send back they will simply refuse to take it, specially if you did the wheels and brake test during assembling as required by them, because they will claim it is no longer unused. I dont understand why this is so hyped, you can buy much better scooters for way less money, I have a ZonDoo ZO01 with two 1200Watts mottors, a 52V/28.2AH battery, with a max range of 80 km, with a max speed of about 70 km/h with very similar suspension to the apollo ghost, but better dessigned for off roading, and it only cost me 818€ with the shipment included and 1 year guaranty

Do not buy this scooter buy a Varla Eagle 1 or version 2 you'll get twice the scooter power and range for the same price unbelievable specs compared to Apollo I'm Blown Away with how terrible the specs are on Apollo Scooters for their price all because they have nice people forget that

Do not buy their scooters especially if you're not in Canada, their support system is worst than third world and they now how bad it is they don't have a phone line to speak directly with a representative . I purchased an apolo air 1 year ago and it came out of the box inoperable and it's sitting at a scooter shop in Miami waiting for Apollo to send the correct part after sending the wrong part 3 x
