What is the difference between this unit and the hapbee wearable unit?
@Corteum4 жыл бұрын
@@healthynut7636 Two main differences: 1) The Hapbee uses a magnetic fields mechanism to produce effects, and 2) Hapbee requires a subscription in order to use all of its functions, otherwise youre just limited to one function.

Contact the customer service. said will call me back in the morning, it is 8pm already, not get any call yet. Email back a few times, no response. Call their number, no body receive the call. very dissappointed with their after sale service.

What FRQ will this device use ??
@jennw68094 жыл бұрын
I received mine 2 days ago. I guess they changed the business model, because I purchased a device, and the app is free. I am confused about the data part though, the device doesn't seem to collect any data about your HRV, which I definitely expected. I guess this was barely discussed here, but I wish I'd known that before I purchased.

Jenn W Hey Jen, thanks for your comment. I am thinking about purchasing the Apollo myself , but am wondering a few things. Would love to hear your non-biased experience of it so far! Please share if possible

@@conorgrace2378 although my expectations about the device had to be adjusted, I do feel it works, and I have been using it daily. I am a massage therapist and love that I can wear it on the ankle - and I find the band surprisingly comfortable, and I often forget I'm wearing it. The device works perfectly in its current capabilities (although it doesn't seem to have the morning alarm function they spoke of here). And the million dollar question - does it make me feel more calm and help my CPTSD symptoms? Yes, although it's not a magic bullet. But I felt it helped extend the calming effects of an acupuncture treatment, and helped me cope with a difficult week where life threw lots of things at me. I am definitely glad I paid the discounted price for this -- I would be more disappointed if I'd paid full price -- although I realize, I am paying for that great research they did. I also looked in to HRV monitors (I already own the Heartmath one that hooks into my phone, but it's not a wearable.) I discovered a study that found that they are pretty good at rest, but notoriously inaccurate once you are moving around (which I had noticed myself.) Not to mention, wrist and ankle are harder to measure from than earlobe or chest. And also, perhaps the vibrations the device generates might make it difficult to also measure the pulse? So, it seems like the technology is just not there yet. I'm okay with that, but I do wish they hadn't implied in their marketing that it also measures your HRV or collects any data. I actually wrote them last weekend to give them that feedback, however, I have not had any response from their customer service yet. Also, there are reviews (presumably from beta testers) on the website, but there is no way for me to add my own review. On the other hand, they launched on time and got me my device reasonably quickly, and it works fine, so I have to give them credit for that. I do like the device and will keep it!

@@conorgrace2378 Wanted to update you on my experience. For one thing, I notice now they have changed their website to be more clear about the fact that the device tracks nothing, so I give them points for that. Unfortunately, after about 6 weeks of use, my USB charging port went out. I contacted them for a warranty claim. Because of COVID they are not able to ship me a new one, but they will take my return and give me a refund. (The factory has been making ventilators.) It's quite unfortunate that I cannot waitlist for an exchange, because I did pay the pre-order price. Apparently I will have to pay full price if I ever want to get a new one. I know they played with the pricing structure and I feel the full price they set is awfully high; if I were making it I'd try to move more units at a lower price. Especially because the device is novel and seems to have some durability issues. Let me tell you, though, I am really missing my device these days!!

@@jennw6809 Hi Jenn. Thanks for your detialed comments. Did you end up getting another one? Not sure about their pricing. It seems a bit steep imo. On another note, you may be interested in looking at the Sensate Pebble device. It does vagus nerve stimulation. Take a look at it.
