My girlfriend moved her stuff out while I was at work and when I came back she told me in person she needed a break and that she needs to find yourself and be happy with herself, and not just when we’re together. My ex left me during the pandemic. I can safely say that I moved on and fully healed. If she leaves, its better to gut it all out and let time do the proper healing and move on. Is it easy? definitely not, but as time heals, your eyes begin to open again

I can’t even explain how helpful this video was. I’m going through this literal exact situation and she has done every single one of these signs. @6:15 What if this happened to me over the period of 4 months? She asked for space but I didn’t know how long and my anxious attachment got to me and kept on reaching out. I pretty much have no chance of getting her back now right? 1st time: after 2 weeks NC 2nd time: after another 2 weeks NC 3rd time: after a month and two weeks of NC And a week later sent flowers to her job like an idiot because I think she’s still mad at me from something I said to her-Blocked But before blocking she sent a message saying she appreciated the sentiment but no longer wanted to be involved with me and she wanted no further contact. I don’t plan on ever contacting her and I realize now she was a dismissive avoidant and her panic alarms and fear of her loss of independence went off as soon as I started getting kinda serious talking about a future too soon. Idk. Maybe I was moving too fast but she could’ve just told me that instead of shutting down and stonewalling/ghosting me. That’s not really an attractive quality to have in a partner, someone that can’t communicate.

That's all fair. But it's no contact for a reason. 30-45 days. Ideally even 60 sometimes depending on if she really is an avoidant style person. The reality is you can't communicate well either. Which is evident on your problem and what happened and your inability to logically think through what's transpiring and what you need to do in the space between. You kept seeking validation and that was your result. Clingy/Needy and that's not an attractive quality set, regardless of how you "thought" it seemed. Work on you, What you did, what you didn't do, how you failed her and yourself. Progress your LIFE. See how it's going in 2 months from now. Go from there after you've done some work on you.

I went through the same thing it was 6 months in. Dismissive Avoidant I found out. Ghosted me after a simple txt. 5 days went by I went to get house we had a respectful heated conversation. She stated I wasn't patient & felt like I was forcing a conversation, i said I need to know what's going on, if u need time then it. Conversation smoothed out later I asked is that it are we good are we done, she said she still wants to talk & hang. NC next time I saw her we were working together she said she had triggers she needed to work on. We cool now hugs when we meet but still NC
