@@theastronomer5800 That's also true. Except Jesus was an actual person who actually lived. But its deeper than that. He had the ability to heal the sick, cure the blind and feed the poor with abilities that scientists today still do not understand. I'm not saying he's God. I'm not saying that. What I am saying is its a mystery. A mystery that our society is built upon, that 2000 years ago a being walked the Earth who had the power to change and alter reality, and he used it for good. That in of itself is a miracle. Jesus may not be God, but he definitely was divine, and his ultimate divinity was his humanity and goodness to this species.

Baal is the three-foot stone idol (god) of the Canaanites. He is a non-living being with four distinct attributes (characteristics): (1) Baal is one (and only) in the sense that no other god bears his name. (2) Baal cannot beget because a non-living being cannot beget - nor be begotten. (3) Baal did not speak to his prophets face-to-face - except from behind a veil (or spokesman). (4) Baal did not perform miracles for his prophets. In the Quran, we read about another god who did not perform miracles, nor speak to his prophet face-to-face. Like Baal, this god of the Quran cannot beget; nor be begotten. Quran 112:1-4 reads: “Say: ‘He is Allah - the one (and only). There is none like unto Allah - he begets not, nor is he begotten.” * The similarities between the two gods - Baal of the ancient City of Petra and Allah whose early qiblas (directions of prayer) point to the ancient City of Petra are uniquely surprising. Coincidence? * Oh, One more! Consider the “Miracle of Life”: If life comes from life, then who did Baal or Allah create?

You are stupid and ignorant. You are confusing the Roman and greek sun god who was born on the 25th of December and whose weekly holiday was the day of the sun (Sunday). It was the birthday of mithras not of Jesus who was not born in winter. You are worshipping mithras. Constantin, the emperor of Rome introduced thia pagan worship and the trinity in the council of Nicaea in 325 AD.
@g.330420 күн бұрын
Baal was worshipped mainly in the north - Israel kingdom, Sidon, Sur.. The trial of prophet Eliyahu against the Baal prophets on mountain Carmel shows how popular and important the worship of Baal was to the Israelis, of course the biblical texts oppose it and propagated against it. Baal is the god which gives the fertility to the soil through the rain, the rain penetrates the soil like an act of intercourse, Baal means the penetrator in intercourse context. The aftermath of the destruction of the Canaanite cities, because of the fall of the Egyptian empire and the invasion of the people of the sea, was the formation of local indepandant kingdoms like Israel. Muhammad and the culture he belongs to have nothing to do with the agrarian based society, morality and high literature of those kingdoms.
@benrex777520 күн бұрын
@@g.3304 Thank you for pointing that out. If the Baal argument is used to point out how the Muslim arguments backfire then the other argument is perfect for that. After all the Muslim arguments are on that level. But if it is actually believed to be a historical argument that holds any water then you are correct in correcting it.

As a Christian, I am used to being challenged for the beliefs. I myself challenged it a lot and drilled very deep into the question "why should THIS be true". With muslims I have the feeling, they, for some unknown reason, just believe its true. For some reason they believe it so firmly, they will attack you quickly, if you really challenge them. But WHY? The more I learned about Islam, the more its sounds like absolte nonsense and the less I understand, how people who know this all, can believe in Islam. I mean, the villager in Afghanistan who has limited interest and access to science and other sources of information - okay, makes sense. But a guy like this? How can you believe that the sun goes down in a swamp next to some folks living there? How can you believe Allah threw rocks on earht, to balance it from "moving too much"? How can you believe that sperm is produced in your spine? That a baby first grows a skeleton and then the rest? Unlike Christianity, Islam is directly contradicting the "first layer" of science - the observation! All observable claims of the bible for example, have not been contradicting science. They get against each other, when it comes to the second layer - the interpretation but thats another story. Islam is really a myth to me - so easy to debunk and yet so many follow it and the west protects it.

My post, Does S 81 Address a Custom of Burying Baby Girls Alive? S 81:8-9 “And when the maw’udah has been asked/ Which sin it was killed for.” Maw’udah is, so we are told, a nominative feminine passive participle. But there’s no obvious explicit mention of a baby girl, nor apparently of one that has been buried. Could this verse be in reference to the human soul, nafs, of feminine grammatical gender? If so, the maw’udah, of uncertain etymology, could arguably be about a male or a female of any age being asked what sin he/she had been killed for, in whatever manner.

And even if Christianity is false that does not make Islam true by default. If according to Hijab that these arguments that he has put forward in that video, he said is iron clad then he himself or any other Islamic Apologist should have no problem defending in a moderated debate. The problem is Hijab would not touch any of these arguments in any debate.

So his companions looked at him. He said, 'It appears that you disapprove of it.' Then he said, 'I will never show apprehension to anyone with regards to this. Verily, I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, "Whomever attributes himself (in lineage) with an attribution of Jahiliyyah, then tell him to bite his father's male organ and do not speak figuratively (i.e. be explicit)." The people looked askance at him, so he said to the people: I can see what you are thinking, and I can only say this: that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed us: “If you hear someone boasting in an ignorant manner of his tribal lineage, then tell him to bite his father’s male member, and do not use a metaphor.” Narrated by Ahmad (35/157); classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad. It was narrated from Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man boasted of his tribal lineage, and Ubayy told him to bite his father’s male member, and they said: You were never given to obscene speech! He said: We were instructed to do that. Narrated by Ahmad (35/142); classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad and as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘. From the WikiIslam article, Kinana Torture and Beheading of Kinana Kinana b. al-Rabi', who had the custody of the treasure of the B. al-Nadir, was brought to the apostle who asked him about it. He denied that he knew where it was. A Jew came (Tabari says "was brought") to the apostle and said that he had seen Kinana going round a certain ruin every morning early. When the apostle said to Kinana, 'Do you know that if we find you have it I shall kill you?' he said Yes. The apostle gave orders that the ruin was to be excavated and some of the treasure was found. When he asked him about the rest he refused to produce it, so the apostle gave ordrs to al-Zubayr b. al-'Awwam, 'Torture him until you extract what he has,' so he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head in revenge for his brother Mahmud. Ishaq. I (Author), Guillaume. A (Translator). (2002). The Life of Muhammad. (p. 515). Oxford University Press. Kinanah b. al-Rabi b. al-Huqyaq who had the treasure of B. Nadir was brought to the Messenger of God, who questioned him; but he denied knowing where it was. Then the messenger of God was brought a Jew who said to him, “I have seen Kinanah walk around this ruin every morning.” The Messenger of God said to Kinanah: “What do you say? If we find it in your possession, I will kill you.” “All right,” he answered. The Messenger of God commanded that the ruin should be dug up, and some of the treasure was extracted from it. Then he asked him for the rest of it. Kinanah refused to surrender it; so the Messenger of God gave orders concerning him to al-Zubayr b. al-‘Awwam, saying, “torture him until you root out what he has.” Al-Zubayr kept twirling his firestick in his breast until Kinanah almost expired; then the Messenger of God gave him to Muhammad b. Maslamah, who beheaded him to avenge his brother Mahmud b. Maslamah.” Tabari vol. 8, p.123

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) burned the palm trees of Banu Nadir, and cut down Buwairah (the name of their garden). Then Allah revealed the words: “What you (O Muslims) cut down of the palm trees (of the enemy), or you left them standing...” [59:5] Sunan Ibn Majah 2844

So according to Hajab his very first point means that Judaism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, as well as various sects of Hinduism and localized folk religions and New Age faiths across the globe also have a iron claim to legitimacy because they also believe in one god. And while I’m sure a Muslims will come along and say “1+1+1 = 3” as I include Christianity as well, but what then about Unitarianism?? According to Hijabs argument and understanding of monotheism Unitarian Christians must be equally as true as Islam.
