I don't understand how his congregation can't see through the BS. He says the Bible is wrong in certain places yet he preaches from it. Why would anyone he preaches to trust anything he preaches from a book he says is not correct in totality? It is saddening how many people don't read their bibles and proclaim Christ as their king.

I woke up a week ago in the middle of the night. I went for a walk and ended up going to the apartment complex near my home. Walking up to a dumpster I noticed a book among the trash. I pulled it out and it was a CSB bible almost brand new. It has been a while since I have read the bible, years in fact. It was like God woke me up to find this bible and said, "Here, read this my word." I took it home and started reading, "In the beginning, God created..."

Always be looking for jesus in everything! "In the beginning god created...""man shall not live on bread alone but by the word of god." It was in the trash because it is a trash translation. Get a KJV. God didn't wake you up to find a watered down illogical bible just to have you think it is God's Word. God cannot lie and he is not the author of confusion, the CSB has more than enough contradictions and vague wording. It is not the Word of God, it is the words of men based on their own interpretation.
@tinawantland398 Жыл бұрын
@@SilasCole88 CSB is a word for word translation, but the vocabulary is geared toward a middle school level of understanding. The translation is NOT paraphrased, nor altered to promote a deliberate philosophy or doctrine.
@SilasCole88 Жыл бұрын
@@tinawantland398 Word for word translations don't make sense, there has to be thought translation too. For example, a word for word translation for "el carro negro" would be "the car black." The thought translation would be "the black car." On top of that there is the problem with contradictions. You said it is a word for word translation and is not altered to promote deliberate philosophy or doctrine. Let's challenge this. Acts 12:4 the CSB uses Passover instead of Easter. Passover was a term coined by William Tyndale. In William's translation of this verse he doesn't use the word that he invented here. Why? Because Passover was already over and they were in the days of unleavened bread. Easter is used here because of the Roman pagan holiday that the people were celebrating. This is a clear contradiction. Now for the deliberate philosophy, the CSB uses gender-inclusive language, I wonder why. Examples of this is changing the word "man," anthropos in Greek, 151 times to either "human," "people," or "ones." This also contradicts your claim that the CSB is a word for word translation, yet purposefully changes this word from it's traditional meaning. Even in the CSB's FAQ page they say "the translators follow what they believe is the original reading and indicate the main alternative(s) in footnotes." They also add, "the Translation Oversight Committee chose to avoid being unnecessarily specific in passages where the original context did not exclude females." The fact they follow what they "believe" is the original is the problem and they did just that. I'm sure a homosexual would say the same thing when translating the "bible." The CSB is simply not the Word of God and should never be defended simply based on these few changes mentioned, there are more changes but I'm not going to get in a translation debate. There is already a perfect translation written in English, the KJV. I don't see why people think that they have to change a perfect translation to somehow make it "easier" to read when they are actually doing the opposite. How about bringing your intellect up to the standards of God's Word rather than bringing God's Word down to your standard of intellect. If you want to know more on why I read the KJV please feel free to search "Why I Use The King James Bible" by Christopher J. E. Johnson and read his article. He explains this very issue in so much detail. A vague translation of the "bible" is just another way of lying and pushing false doctrine by washing down the specifics necessary for getting to doctrinal truth.

Brandon's basic argument was that the homosexuality of today (monogamous, loving relationship) was not what was in view in Lev 18:22, but it was against the idolatrous homosexual practices of the Egyptians. i.e. a narrow subset of homosexuals who practice 'good homosexuality'. He rejected the comparison in context of Lev 18 to Lev 19, but how can he reject the comparison of Lev 18:22 to 18:23? If he is going to argue that some homosexuality in Lev 18:22 is ok (because it is loving and monogamous), then you have to ask the question if the same is true with animals; "is it ok to lie with an animal as long as it is loving and monogamous?"

Hello, I will pray for you my friend but if you are a Christian then the forces of darkness do not have authority over you. They can try to frighten you but that is all. It seems as though what you need are a church with biblical teaching and a body of brothers and sisters that you can walk alongside. The bible tells us to walk in the spirit (galatians). That indicates a steady pace and fellowshipping with other Christians helps with that. Also a steady diet of the word of God. As an analogy we know that a child does not grow up in one day. It takes a steady diet of good food and time for that to happen. It is similar when it comes to spiritual matters. I hope this helps. God bless.

Hey Jeff, I firstly want to thank and acknowledge our Lord Jesus for the grace and mercy He continues to pour out and for the Holy and Righteous life He lived that we might know and understand the things of the Kingdom of Righteousness..... That being said, may I encourage you to take time to watch this video....at least in parts.... Your exegesis and cross reference of Isaiah 52 and 53 together with Matthew 8 (can I also add 1 Peter 2:21-25) was wonderful because it grounded the discussion without emotion in the Word of God.... Many times during your monologue, your time was not seasoned with salt nor with grace, but arrogance and contempt (please watch brother....this is not for you and me....but for lost souls who may be drawn....desperately seeking to hear the Word of Truth....Jesus said we would worship in Spirit and Truth.... That being said...I also wish to address your remarks about the right to kill to save yourself.... Please consider Acts 7 for one moment and then also Matthew 5...you mentioned Gods Providence....and that is exactly where we must camp....we are not to entertain our story but testify about His... I say this out of love brother.... Maybe off-line with your brothers this is a topic worth discussing in private....but to suddenly declare bloodshed as justifiable (please brother....that is not the Gospel of the Kingdom).... Finally and most importantly I want to address the super chats dealing with sin... What is the role of the Holy Spirit today in a believers life.... Paul thw apostle stresses about walking in the Spirit...reminding us that we are the temple that the Holy Spirit of God now dwells in.... The brother right of screen addresses in the end the need to seek the kingdom and His righteousness..... So I would seek to point us all to the HELPER....this is why Jesus today still speaks to us in John 14:12-14 when he says greater things than these will you do.... In many cases we neglect to pray by faith that the Holy Spirit of God would move upon a person for the sake of the Kingdom.... We are told this is not a war fought on earth....yet we go back to seeking righteousness through the letter (work at sanctification).... 2 Corinthians 3:4-6 NKJV - And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Both the prophet Joel and Ezekiel prophesied the Holy Spirit being poured out....the omnipresent Spirit of God... We are not to grieve the Spirit when He wirltnesses to us.... This means both acknowledging and confessing sin, then BY FAITH praying for Gods help to overcome..... Please understand this is a spiritual war....pray in THE SPIRIT, that THE FATHER in THE SONS NAME would intercede.... Otherwise Christ died in vain..... Galatians 3:2-3 NKJV - This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? If you listen to the words of Jesus clearly, He talks about rest....He is the Lord of the Sabbath.... Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV - “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” In exactly the same way God called Noah to enter the Ark and rest (by faith), we are to believe by faith that our prayers for righteousness will be heard and fulfilled for HIS GLORY James 5:15-16 NKJV - And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. When James writes about faith without works....consider what he writes He speaks about Abraham (Gen 22:8) He speaks about Rahab (Josh 2:10-13) When Jesus healed people who were sick....did he give them instruction to work at righteousness....he asked them to have faith....healed then "sin no more" Know that everyone who truly believes that Jesus is Lord will receive the Holy Spirit....and your first sign will be His conviction to you of your sin...the witness.. He will begin to circumcise your heart as soon as you confess, offer a righteous prayer to him....one which seeks the things of the Kingdom.... This is the miracle He has promised to do in all who believe....this is the effected transformation that John writes about (1 John 3) and Ezekiel prophesied about Ezek 36....it's not allegory This is why Jesus said..... John 3:3-7 NKJV - Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ And this is why it's a miracle..... John 3:8 NKJV - “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Praise be to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for the gift of His Holy Spirit....❤🙏 Much Love and Shalom ❤🙏

Brandon is a prime example of what happens when people pour a large amount of money, effort, and time into memorizing & regurgitating information (without much attention paid to critically questioning whether what they're memorizing & regurgitating is actually true). The person ends up feeling entitled, as if they're automatically right *because* of all the time, effort, and money they poured into it (rather the actual truth or falsity of the position)... and become dogmatic about their position (unwilling to properly consider opposing arguments). There's also the issue that he badly wants his pre-existing beliefs to be true. So he's got a double whammy. I'll pray for him, as it's going to take a lot to pull him out of his delusion... particularly when it's his source of making money too.

Jeff, as a brother in Christ, Reformed/Calvinist but living in a very Catholic country in Europe I'm just going to play "The Enemy's" advocate, here goes ... What if Jesus of Nazareth was just living out an experience of self fulfillment of prophecy?" I don't have an answer for this one.

Listening to Brandon in a different interview, he stated that Jesus wasn't without sin and cited the interaction with the Syro Pheonician woman as proof. There was no cultural understanding nor 'seeing' spiritually what was happening in that discourse. If Jesus wasn't perfect then that neutralises the cross and resurrection.

He literally "teaches" doctrines of demons!! It's crazy.

What a terrible misnomer to call that kind of apostasy “progressive” OR “Christianity”

Year's ago, here in Canada, there was a news story about a guy on a reserve who became so intoxicated that he took his infant daughter outside in the winter without protective clothing in a drunken attempt to find a fresh diaper for her; and dropped her in a snow bank where she froze to death. The good news offered by Progressive Christianity has nothing of substance to offer this man; no hope, no forgiveness, no redemption ; no purgation of the self-destructive impulses that drove him to such irresponsible behaviour. Why? Because Progressive Christians deny the divine authorship and authority of the Scriptures; deny the atonement ; deny the existence of sin; deny the necessity of repentance ; deny the doctrine of satisfaction and ultimately deny God himself by way of a creation of an idolatrous version of Jesus Christ.

Brandan believes in “Jesus” because he desperately needs a god to approve of his sin

When I see this "Pastor" I immediately think of Oscar Matzerath from "Die Blechtrommel" mixed with the false prophet from "There will be blood"...

There’s no king but Christ; any person claiming to be an ambassador for our King and speaks any other word than what the King has in fact said, is no ambassador. That person is speaking treasonously and is not serving the king. Again, there is no King but Christ!

Brandan hopes to pounce on those who do not read the Word. Encouragement to know the Word as the Bible instructs.

I'm not sure Brandon is biblically illiterate, he knows full well what Scripture says but prefers to twist Scripture to support his sin.
