I was a a Mormon for over 20 years. In 2019 I got saved after months and months of looking into biblical Christianity. These videos by Apologia helped immensely with some of the big questions I had when comparing Mormonism to Christianity. I used to listen to all the Mormon evangelism videos at work, constantly. My life has so much peace now that I have the true Jesus Christ, but it’s also gotten harder. I was married to a Mormon woman, and after I was saved, it resulted in divorce. There’s a lot of tension with me and family, all because I chose Christ over Joseph. I’ve lost many friends and family and opportunities because of this, and I don’t regret it at all. Jesus is a far greater treasure than anything else this world has to offer. Jeff, I want to thank you for these videos, and how God has used them and used you for his glory to share the gospel. I pray that your guys’ evangelism increases and that more people will listen who are Mormon and that God works in their hearts. God bless!!

@@danielmeakin All you need to do is repent of your idolatry and any other sins. The moment you do that God will forgive you of all your sins and give you his righteousness, which is the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Joseph Smith and every LDS prophet since him have preached a gospel of “do,” negating the gospel of “done” that Jesus preached and was. The LDS church is all about what it and its members must still do and be if they want to live with God (and be a god) one day. The true church is all about proclaiming what Christ has DONE to make us right with God now for all eternity. It’s a certainty. Jesus Christ canceled the record of debt that was held against us. All you need to do is accept Christ by faith. It isn't because of who you are and what you must and can do for God. It is because of who God is and what He did for you in sending Jesus to be the sacrificial offering for your sins. To be your substitute on the cross and to satisfy the demands of God's law that stands against you. Christ has done the one work that was necessary to reconcile you to God. Christ has done the one act of righteousness that could bring justification and life to all men. All Christ is asking with open arms is for you to lay down your religiosity and works at the foot of the cross and allow Christ to take it. Salvation is quite simple. Luke 18 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.” God bless you.

What's sad is that you left a false religion to join another one. Jeff is a false teacher. We're not saved by repenting of all sins and doing any other sacrifices, we're saved by faith alone in what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross. Being God and the perfectly sinless lamb, he paid for all our sins by pouring his precious blood on the cross and resurected three days later for our justification. You believe it, you're saved, you don't believe it or mock it, you perish.

@@gethsemane-777 I'm not sure I follow. Repentance is directing all our faith to Christ instead of to other objects, yes? I'm not trying to follow Jeff although I've found his videos helpful as an ex-mormon; I read Isaiah 44 yesterday as he recommended to a Mormon on one of these and God spoke to me through those verses like I haven't heard him speak to me for many years. Honestly the last time I felt that way was when I read the Book of Mormon as a boy. My understanding now though is those feelings were from a false God because Mormon doctrine contradicts God's Word in the Bible and therefor what I felt was not from God but was of the flesh. The feelings I had yesterday are of God because they were in response to and align with his written Word whereas the feelings I had as a boy were in response to false teachings from a false prophet and contradict His Word and must be a pseudo-spiritual experience derived from the flesh. We can be sanctified though through our faith in Christ and a separation from sin can occur if it is the will of God, yes?

I guess you haven't heard about this Paul guy who has some amazing incites to the book of Abraham supporting Joseph Smith. He is frightening the critics who have actually blocked him from commenting on several sites. He has some brilliant evidence to explain why Joseph was adding characters that didn't match Egyptian. like we see in the facsimile 2 their were likewise Lacunas (holes) in the missing Abraham scroll. The dead sea scrolls had the same problems wherein they had to invent Greek words and character's to fill in certain empty holes in the scrolls. Joseph and the scribes were likely using the book of breathings characters to fill in several such lacunas in an attempt to match the English translation with the Egyptian character's. What he proposes explains everything the critics question and supports the reality that Smith was actually translating from Egyptian. Don't miss this new evidence. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4umnGmgjZZ2f7s

@@yunginspirit3162 - That's assuming on your part that the Book of Mormon is a greater authority than the Bible. The Bible does not state/teach of other gods like the LDS do, including the possibility of becoming a "god". In other words, Mormons find the Bible false, if you are being intellectually honest. With all due respect, reading the Bible will verify the Book of Mormon as false. God can't take away the agency of any human, Pharaoh hardens his own heart against the words of Moses. On the other hand though, the bible does verify the BoM, one way that we use is 2 Corinthians 13:1, paul states that "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" proving that when God is teaching something important he sends another source to confirm it. I was born into an LDS family, baptized into that faith. I've been inactive for almost 8 years now. But part of me has struggled with missing going to their church. I've been going to Christian churches. I've watched a few other pastors talk about these specific things, but never heard the things you said in this video. I've been praying for God to reveal His truth to me. I only want His truth, while following scripture. Then I watched this, while washing dishes. I'm a mom of 6 kids btw. I found myself overwhelmed, in tears. I feel like I've been starved of the truth my entire life. While being fed a delicious poison, that lulled me to sleep, leaving my mind and heart to find comfort in their lies. God's truth isn't easy or comfortable to know... what the Mormon religion leans on is giving comforting answers to things that don't feel good. Like being sealed in temples to your family for time and eternity. Like knowing you'll see them again in Heaven. I'm grieving heavily while I let go of those beliefs. But cannot argue with the things you said and the scriptures you shared. I will indeed be wrestling with God, on my face, as I accept Him, and His perfect word. Thank you for doing this work, Thank you God for answering me.

But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his_ - Ro 8.9 _You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, 8'These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men'"_ - Matthew 15.7-9 Having said all that, how do we identify true followers of Christ from the false ones? The answer is simple, in-that we look to those who are actually following in Jesus' footsteps, as-in, worshiping and preaching as Jesus did. And we all know Jesus did not worship nor preach a triune god at any point in His ministry - behold the true doctrine of Christ! Stay strong and keep petitioning GOD for enlightenment brother!

If your family members love Jesus and turn to Him in repentance for their sins, you will see them again in Heaven. If they are sincere in wanting to believe in the one true God, they just need to be shown the contradictions between what the LDS church teaches and what the Bible actually says. I left the Greek Orthodox church when I began to see things in the church's teachings that didn't line up with scripture. So I completely understand what you're going through. It can be gut wrenching. But I can tell you with 100% certainty that God will carry you through and provide what you need. He is faithful. It took almost 30 years for my mom to come to Jesus. @@Jayb2428 The Bible does not point the trinity - what a silly thing to say - the Bible is complete and explicit, in-that there is only one source alone and by Himself of whom and to whom are all things - that is the GOD and Father of Jesus Christ alone. Of this we are assured, as Jesus Christ Himself testified it. And so while the people of this world keep looking for ways to embellish the plain truth of scripture with lies, they do so at the expense of Jesus' teachings and commandments, and all because a group of degenerate men said so - not Jesus, or any approved prophet, but very, very clearly, a group of degenerate men having no place whatsoever in the written truth of scripture. And so, in response to your challenge I would answer in truth - that I have pleaded GOD for the truth, and that His Holy Spirit revealed it, as it was revealed to Jesus Christ - the truth of GOD without the addition or removal of anything. That is what GOD's servant and follower of Christ is now testifying to - the truth revealed by GOD, against the lies of men. That is why Jesus Christ did not worship, teach or preach a triune god at any point in His ministry. That is also why, there is not one single mention of anyone worshipping such a god in all of Bible history. That is also why there are no declarations or revelations of such a god(triune) in all Bible history. And finally, that is why there is no such god taught or revealed in the doctrine of godliness established by Jesus Christ on earth. True followers of Christ will worship, teach and preach as Jesus did on earth - and we all know without a doubt, that Jesus did not worship, teach or preach a triune god in His ministry - no one, in all of Bible history did so in-fact. - you have been deceived friend, repent and beg the one true GOD and Father of Jesus Christ for mercy, so that your eyes may be opened, as others were opened before you. Truth_is_the_new_hate, Not all of us are stuck with the excuse interpretation, most members of all religions I see have a script of scriptures in their mind without their own reasoning to believe what they say, they just say what they were told. As an example, those who believe God is a spirit automatically turn to John 4:24 because that's what they were taught, when the missionaries want to talk about faith they automatically turn to Alma 32 because that's what they were taught. I agree with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of many patterns and symbolism I see in the Bible, not because of a list of scriptures in a textbook. I agree Christ, Satan and we are all literal spirit brothers and sisters through Revelation 12, Abraham sacrificing Issac, symbolism between the law of Moses and Jesus Christ, 3 Nephi and the name "The Lamb of God". I've questioned people on biblical scriptures, they share their answers, I then tell them the answer they gave me and they refuse to believe it. I left Mormonism about 12 - 14 years ago, after several things happened which I just felt like God would never stand for. One thing that bothered me before I left (and still bothers me), is how the Bible is only considered to be the divine word of God if and unless it validates Joseph Smith's claims. If the Bible doesn't validate Joseph's claims, then suddenly the Bible has been "translated incorrectly." If I were to bake a cake with vinegar instead of sugar, would the bad taste be the result of the recipe being written incorrectly, or is the bad taste the result of my mistake? The bad-tasting cake/ "incorrect recipe" scenario can be applied to Mormon doctrine and Joseph Smith's teachings. If Joseph's words are proven to be untrue (which they have been on more than one occasion), then is that the fault of the Bible, a book written roughly 1,000 years before Joseph was even born, or is that the fault of the person making false claims? Believe in the Bible! †

LV Girl, Jeff doesn't know what he's doing, the missionaries don't know what they're doing, nearly everyone alive is deluded by the world. Do I have the ability to read brains? Of course not, so how do I know exactly what people are going to say and do before they even do so? Here's how, I just have to learn the programme they live by. Over 90% of the time people live by their subconscious thoughts, feelings and motives, but no one has control of their subconscious thoughts including Jeff. If I ask a Catholic why do they believe God is a spirit how do I know they'll show me John 4:24 out of all the options available? I know because that's part of their programme. How did I know Jeff was going to refer to Isaiah 43:10 and erase verse 11 out of all the scriptures saying there's only one God? Because that's part of his programme. The mind is a fascinating thing to learn about, it explains so much about people. Why do people find it so hard to accept certain pieces of information? Nearly everyone has a set of beliefs fixated in their mind, anything that does not suit that set of beliefs the mind refuses to accept and since the people don't control their mind, their mind controls them. Part of Jeff's programme is "God lives", no matter how much someone speaks the truth and says no one knows whether God exists or not, he refuses to accept that truth because it does not suit his programme. The COVID-19 Vaccine, there's some people it hasn't worked on and there was something they had in common, those it didn't work on did not believe it would work, their brain would not accept a successful vaccine because of their beliefs, it's more successful on those who do believe because their mind will accept the information that the vaccine can work. That's how powerful thoughts are. I made Jeff leave his subconscious (programme) to use his conscience instead, he told me his own beliefs are heresy without knowing. I asked him a few questions about scriptures in the Bible and he said premortal life is biblical, I repeated his own words to him and asked "do you agree?" He then said "No, they're heresies." When I told him I said exactly what he said he refused to believe it. His conscious answers oppose his programme so he won't accept what his conscience tells him.

@danielmoore4024
@danielmoore4024 3 жыл бұрын
@@Lebronwski I made him admit by making him step out of his comfort zone by my knowledge concerning the mind. During the first 7 years of life humans live by "theta" also known as hypnosis. The first 7 years you were not taught countless rules of how to be a functional member of a family and community, you just observed and were hypnpotized to live that way. 95% of the time humans live by their subconscious thoughts, the mind literally is programmed and that's the problem. Here on KZbin, type something like "programme mind". 95% of the time you are unconsciously living your subconscious thoughts, feelings and motives, that's why people hardly ever think. I may of written it above, if I ask a Catholic why they believe God is a spirit without a body they will unconsciously turn to John 4:24 because during that first 7 years they were shown John 4:24 to become a functional member of their religion. I made Jeff have to exercise his conscience by asking him questions people don't ask him, since people don't ask him these they are not in his subconscious thoughts. Me: Who's the woman in Revelation 12? Jeff: Israel Me: Who's Israel? Jeff: The Lord's people Me: Where were they? Jeff: Heaven Me: How could Israel flee from Heaven to earth if we were never in Heaven before mortality? Jeff: It wouldn't be able to. Me: We were in Heaven before earth in premortal life, do you agree? Jeff: No, premortal life is heresy. As soon as I allowed him to stop thinking he returned to the subconscience programmed to believe premortal life is heresy and that's why he called his own answers heresy. About John 1:1, I just questioned him pulling him out of his subconscious and it greatly confused him. Me: Eternity has neither beginning nor end, so when during eternity was the beginning? If we didn't exist before the beginning who was God the God of, he couldn't be a God without anyone to be the God of? "I am the Alpha and Omega" Alpha and Omega of what I asked, he said everything. I pointed out, eternity has no end and he refused to believe it, his mind would not accept his conscious thoughts. Jeff does not question his own beliefs, he unconsciously lives as a functional member of his religion, he does not have the freedom to think for himself.

@@yosiyyahu.bar.stephen 2 wrongs do not make a right. Corruption is gauranteed when dealing with human beings. He founded a Church despite human weakness and even one of His cloest followers betrayed him and the one who He called rock upon which He was going to build His Church denied Him. Yet Jesus as God created His plan including all the variables of human weakness. The authority of His Church still stands and this was as He willed it. The Church will always retain this authority based on the power and wisdom of God. Nothing good happens when trying to step outside this authority and it only makes things worse. Just because protestants abandoned the bark of Peter does not give them a free pass of responsibility. Remember that the same anscestors who you condemn for corruption are your anscestors along with the catholic church. We all have the same roots and bear the same responsibility of the past. Creating even more division did nothing to fix whatever was set out to be fixed. The end does not justify the means. History shows that division comes from one place and the result is not unity or reform but rather more disunity, divisions, confusion and corruption if the truth. Just honest look at the state of christianity.

Jeff Durbin, and the likes teach that God created us out of nothing (exnihilo) because he was bored and needed to be worshipped and that we are simply inferior creatures somewhat like robots, and pawns with an artificially infused intelligence that some how constitutes free will. We teach that God created the world because he loved us as his literal children before we came to earth and that through worshipping and obeying God we receive blessings including eternal salvation. The orthodox folks such as Jeff Durbin and like you must be, teach that more people seem to be headed to hell than to heaven and yet you don't know what either one is really is. You just teach that hell is as bad as it can get and heaven is as good as it can get. You beleive heaven is a static place with no growth and God's glory is limited. We believe it is a dynamic place with a continued increase that glorifies God forever. We teach that God desires to save all of his children and does this through the grace of Jesus Christ. Only the sons of perdition who will full knowledge rejected Jesus will go to a literal "hell". I don't see this as open minded, but clearly a closed minded, closed ears approach to "discussion" when it is not a discussion at all. The way that he answered against John 17:21 was amazing, almost flippant, where he offered his opinion that in the case of John 17:21 Jesus was talking about unity, but in the case of the "Trinity" which Jesus never once spoke about (because it is a man made doctrine), in that case we must believe it means literally one being. tiffani smith, I am sad for you. First I will correct your terminology of the Lords Church. It is the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. Mormon is not the head of the church nor the foundation of the church, he was a prophet & the one who took a few of the records and compiled them, thus the Book of Mormon, the author however is Jesus Christ Himself, he is the one that revealed that which was to be written. There is no difference in how the Bible was compiled by prophets & apostles, who received revelations as to how the Book of Mormon was compiled from the prophets & apostles who received revelations. These and all the books of scripture go hand in hand. You In my experience when we are not being strictly obedient, not taking the opportunity to study the Word, it leaves a gap in the gate that allows just enough room for Satan or one of his angels to creep in and tempt us, lie to us. Then we stop praying and we stop taking advantage of the Atonement, and before we know it we are not making the best of decisions, we start feeling inadequate, we stop praying and then Satan has a firm grasp. Don’t let him win, you must turn to the Light if the World. There is a quote there, supposedly from Christ that says: “I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it.” The church of Jesus Christ is the one and only true church on the face of the earth it holds the name of Jesus Christ unlike any other church it has prophets and apostles as spoken of in the New Testament and Old Testament we live by the commandments we believe in Jesus Christ the one and only Jesus Christ who in the pre-existence we knew as our brother Jehovah the one Jesus Christ to took upon Himself our sins, our sorrows, suffering by way of the Atonement. I encourage you to look at at yourself as a daughter of God and ask if He is pleased with your decisions, I would also encourage you to dust off your Book of Mormon and kneel with real intent asking God if that record which was especially written for the last day if it is true, having faith and believing God will hear and answer your prayer. Should you, like millions of others find that the Holy Ghost bears witness to you, then step up to the plate and soak all that you can in. God is waiting for you to make that move, to ask for His forgiveness (something I have to do daily). He will not force you to believe His gospel, but will also have to implement the consequences of our choices and accountability. You are a princess of a King, even our Father in Heaven, He awaits for each of His children to have humbled hearts and for those lost ones He wants them come back. Ultimately with the gift of free agency It is our decision as to what we want to receive for or eternal future, we are our own Destiny. Trials and tribulations will happen, that is what makes us strong. I have found the Commandments are like a roadmap they are our direction back to our heavenly home, they help us be a better person if we are keeping them, where if we don’t keep the Commandments then we have no promise. I have family members who left the church because they wanted to drink, smoke, not feel guilty for not keeping the Sabbath day Holy etc. The Church of Jesus Christ... was not for them, so they were baptized in the Catholic Church, the felt far less guilty. Sadly for them they will reap what they sewed and will only achieve the glory they could live in on earth.

@@xlombardo82 Sorry to say to you both, but I'll say what I must. If you all just continually arrogantly tell people they're lost without giving a Christ like impression, but be forceful they'll know you only want them for your own gain and don't really love them. If they stop believing what they believe now doesn't mean they'll automatically begin believing the same as you. Most people who leave The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints say, "There is no Jesus Christ." So they obviously don't believe what any of you believe. The best way to preach is how Christ preached, I believe that's why the missionaries are more successful, they have the courage to say what they believe is true and let people throw stones, cast fiery darts and face the persecution. When Christ preached to the rich man, when the rich man would not sell his riches did Christ chase after him or let him choose for himself? Why do you all make alliances against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and discriminate them? Why don't you tell them what you believe is true? I've got the feeling you all know you have alternative beliefs to one another and you know if you reveal your differences you'll find people throwing rocks at you as prophesied, all false churches built unto man shall contend against one another. 2 Nephi 28:3-4 3 For it shall come to pass in that day that the churches which are built up, and not unto the Lord, when the one shall say unto the other: Behold, I, I am the Lord’s; and the others shall say: I, I am the Lord’s; and thus shall every one say that hath built up churches, and not unto the Lord- 4 And they shall contend one with another; and their priests shall contend one with another, and they shall teach with their learning, and deny the Holy Ghost, which giveth utterance.

@@xlombardo82 If you're just going to keep saying I'm lost don't bother, for I know Christ is the world's Saviour, The Book of Mormon is true and testifies the Bible as true, as the Bible prophesies scriptures revealed in the latter days. Acts 6:7, "And the word of God increased;" As prophesied by Isaiah the people were going to be put into a spiritual sleep while the Lord performed a marvelous work among them. Isaiah 29:9-12 9 ¶ Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. 10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. 11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Before you tell me the sealed book is referring to the Bible, think first. Was the Bible ever a sealed book? No. Were learned men ever unable to read it? No. So the sealed book is obviously not the Bible. Isaiah 29:14 14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. The world was put in a spiritual sleep, the prophets were covered and Christ performed a marvelous work. 1 Nephi 9:5-6 5 Wherefore, the Lord hath commanded me to make these plates for a wise purpose in him, which purpose I know not. 6 But the Lord knoweth all things from the beginning; wherefore, he prepareth a way to accomplish all his works among the children of men; for behold, he hath all power unto the fulfilling of all his words. And thus it is. Amen. This marvelous work was the preparation for the restoration and gathering of Israel. Ezekiel 37:15-17 15 ¶ The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, 16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. Two records shall become one in thine hand in the last days, one record by Judah and one by Joseph. We know the Bible is a record of Judah. 3 Nephi 15:12 12 Ye are my disciples; and ye are a light unto this people, who are a remnant of the house of Joseph. The Nephites made the record of Joseph. One stick for Judah, one stick for Joseph and they became one in thine hand. 2 Nephi 29:8 8 Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also. "the testimony of two nations is a witness" Acts 17:26 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; "all nations" not just Jerusalem. Ezekiel 37:18-22 18 ¶ And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20 ¶ And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: The Lord knew and saw the Great Apostasy and knew his people were going to dwindle in unbelief and would need another witness of Christ for the gathering of Israel. D&Cs 1:29-30 29 And after having received the record of the Nephites, yea, even my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., might have power to translate through the mercy of God, by the power of God, the Book of Mormon. 30 And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually- Isaiah 29:18-19 18 ¶ And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. All these records and prophecies by Isaiah, Ezekiel and Nephi and his descendants is The Book of Mormon, it has opened the eyes of millions and brought them unto Christ. There's lots of scriptures in the Bible of Christ, the apostles and prophets declaring that the Father is Jesus Christ's God, if Christ is God, doesn't that make the Father God's God? Ephesians 1:3 "the God ... of our Lord Jesus Christ," As others have said, the Trinity is not taught in the Bible and let me explain. Acts 10:38 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. If Jesus is God, the beginning of this scripture is synonymous to "God anointed God", then look at the end and read, "and God was with him." Now we have to cover how these don't contradict "there's only one God", as we do so you'll see the Father has a body and will resolve the confusion caused by John 4:24, "God is a Spirit" that contradicts all the prophets and apostles who saw God in visions as someone with a body. At the end where the scripture says "and God was with him." since the Holy Ghost was with Christ and is a member of the God Head, the God that was with Christ is the Holy Ghost. Since this claims the Holy Spirit is a God, John 4:24 is resolved that God is a Spirit for it is not talking about the Father then it no longer contradicts other scriptures. In Genesis God says, "let's create man in our image", that states the Father and the Son have the same form and image as each other, so because Christ has a body so does the Father. We've already accomplished the Father is a God, Christ is a God, and the Holy Spirit is a God. The stumbling block people have is they don't know what "one" means. When you look at other scriptures involving the term "one" you'll see one means one in purpose. If you interpret the scriptures as three God's as one in purpose the scriptures will not contradict. How does your interpretation of one God not contradict; Ephesians 1:3 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: "the God ... of our Lord Jesus Christ,"

They’re just boys in their teens who have only been fed Mormonism and haven’t been encouraged or even gotten the chance to question and challenge and research their faith. I have such a love for the boys but the more I talk to them the more I get stuck and the more my heart breaks for them. I know I probably won’t be the one to change them, but I don’t wanna give up on them even though I feel our conversations being more and more stale and fruitless. Mega Froggy I’ve been in a Christian cult and am now in a new church that is not a part of the NAR movement. I left the deeply invested old church because I was seeing revealing information online about the movement my old church was following. I think some people are given over to their delusions as the the Bible says “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not be done.” Romans 1:28 ESV We see that if people do not listen to God’s correction, he may give them up to their desires. Now, if you seek God you will find him! It’s promised in Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” ESV You must be willing to accept the truth of God if you diligently seek him with a heart ready for him. This is why it is irritating to say you know the truth but will not investigate it especially concerning God and the scriptures you say you know but will not acknowledge the wisdom of. “Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men. Acts 17:11 ESV It is commendable to research scripture to verify its truthfulness and is seen as a noble work where belief is made possible.

"Saved", elaborate please. I've always been fascinated about what we're meant to be being saved from, what with an omnipotent god n'all. Omnipotent being the operative word. What kind of being creates a universe with everything needed to support life, and everything in it. He knows everyones thoughts, he knows everything, he is all powerful, right?. So why do you want to save us from him, because the god you worship, according to your worldview caused everything. Why not tell him go fuck himself for being a hypocrite, child murdering, bigoted fuck face who wouldn't even know how to spell morality, let alone create it. Wake up people, Norway and Japan have no religion and they're the best countries in the world, most of Europe were I live have abandoned religion too, like we did the tooth fairy and Santa, same principles apply. I know it's lucrative for some to stay religious, but for the people who believe just because that seems the right thing to do, please rethink it through.

Does this really go on for an hour plus? Are they really arguing over where Jesus was born? In some cases, in these type of videos you could easily have a Presbyterian VS a Lutheran VS a Baptist. Now, I'm not advocating Mormonism here but this idea of everyone having the EXACT same interpretation of minor points, dates of birth, pre-trib, post-trib etc. is not only not realistic, its dissention, its causing fractions etc Most importantly, these knowledge battles are unlikely to win ANY converts. It becomes nothing more than a debate with the power of human effort alone. This should concern us all

Jeff knows one thing and that is how to manipulate the scriptures. This servant of God is maybe 18 or 19. Jeff is way up on him in years and experience, I mean he probably attended the school of anti-Christ and how to manipulate people. I do believe that God will find more favor in his young apprentice who is doing his best to spread the gospel of truth and light vs, the one that is making every effort to destroy ones faith. Sort of like Cain and Able.

Praise God for a faithful servant such as Jeff. I would love to study with this man. God has given Jeff a magnificent capacity to understand, communicate and share, with great clarity, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s amazing, and demonstrated through Jeff’s loving interactions, how God’s truths can never be twisted. Praying that every encounter brings another soul for Christ.

Jeff has memorized scripture amazingly well, but can't really answer direct questions. He was asked specific questions and even though he answered with specific scripture, the scripture didn't actually answer the question at all in many cases. There is more to following Christ than memorizing scripture.

I was approached by missionaries and almost was lured into it. But I was so happy I found a loving Alliance Christian Church and a lovely young group that helped me go nowhere but the Bible and Jesus Christ. No one no works can do the work. But through faith and the love of Jesus our God who Died for our sins. I pray for all the lost souls who dose not know the bible or is reading the wrong doctrines. Hope they will one day come to the right path.

@@chaselittle2601 At what point did Jesus say, worship a triune god? At what point in all of Bible history, do we find anyone worshiping such a god? Where in Jesus' teachings and commandments, are we told preach the trinity? Why is the trinity completely missing in doctrine of godliness established by Jesus Christ? Having said that, why are so-called trinitarians, and who are calling themselves Christians, going around worshiping, teaching and preaching a god that is completely unlike the GOD of Jesus Christ? If followers of Christ are distinguished by imitating Jesus Christ, then what do we make of those who are worshiping, teaching and preaching a god, completely unlike the GOD of Jesus Christ? Quite clearly, our definitions of; 'dead-on', are not the same. As 'dead-on', would imply that true Christians, worship, teach and preach exactly as Jesus did on earth - no more, no less. And that those who do not honor Jesus' teachings and commandments, are not in fact Christians, but rather, apostates of Christ, as these one's are actually following a different doctrine and teaching, and who are clearly not worshiping - not only, as Jesus did in truth, but every, single, prophet approved by GOD before Him... And so, in-spite of what you have been told to believe, the conclusion is that Mr Durbin is not in alignment with Jesus' teachings and commandments - of this, we have been warned; _whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son_ - 2 John 1.9 _beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world_ - 1 John 4.1 _for the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; 4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables_ - 2 Timothy 4.3-4 _'these people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men'"_ - Matthew 15.8-9 _If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn't consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, 4he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions, 5constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such_ - 1 Timothy 6.3-5

@@notimportant4810 The missionaries are not assigned to preach the deep parts of the doctrine during their mission, the deeper beliefs are taught at church.
