I remember trying to read a Bible my uncle gave me when I was eight I think, but when I was at a dark state in my early twenties I asked God to help me and fell asleep. When I woke up I had a craving to read the bible and when I found that gifted Bible in a box in my closet I read and it was like scales were removed from my eyes. Everything came off the pages! I couldn't put that Bible down until I read from John until revelation. Thanks be to God.

I am amazed because over 26 hrs ago I was apprehensive, yet felt led to post about the apostate and then most of today I was led to study Jude, but then around 4 today I saw Pastor Jack on a story and clicked on his sermon series and here you are so conveniently discussing for me apostates and the book of Jude and so much more! This is not a coincidence because I know the Holy Spirit teaches us and he is so faithful and lovingly willing to help his church. Thanks for this Pastor Hibbs. I've learned so much and because I know there is more to the Bible every day we read that I will continue learning and applying Gods word and bearing fruit for His kingdom.

This message brought great comfort to me. My husband walked out God and on me. It hurts but I didn't know. I didn't how much turmoil I was in until God removed him from my life. I'm not happy about it but, there is more peace in my life. No matter how hard I tried or what I tried, he always found away to be unhappy. My kids on the other hand are happy even when I fail day after day. They are thankful and tell me how much they love me. Thank you pastor Jack, it is a brutal message, but bring it we believers can withstand it.

I was able to put them down for good many years ago by realizing to me they were an idol and I, like you just did, requested prayer and repented and ask God to deliver me from them. I took my bible, a loaf of bread and honey and stayed three days and nights in a non-smoking hotel (Holiday Inn) that served breakfast. After drying out, I went home to a plumbing issue at the time, (out of the blue). Lol. But it didn't distract me. I was on a few week vacation from work during the holidays, so I worked puzzles: word puzzles and put puzzles together and did word search to focus my mind/ thoughts. Haven't smoked since.
@tammyosier13410 ай бұрын
Ask the Lord to take away the desire. I smoked since I was 15 years old- 2 pack a dayer. Finally, like David, I was honest and told the Lord that my flesh enjoyed it. But God ... I woke up one morning and did normal things without even realizing I hadn't had a cigarette. Ask Him to do that, then rest in it, even if you still have the desire, thank Him for delivering you from it. He will do it and it will be obvious it's God, not you.

This is not to shame anyone, but Context is key. The terror that Hebrews 10:26 can invoke is very scary indeed. But context is key. Hebrews 10:26 is preceded by a discussion about how animal sacrifices offered for sin according to the Law of Moses offered continually at the temple could not make people clean and perfect for all time but rather needed to be offered continually. Hebrews teaches that in contrast to those continual sacrifices, Jesus, “after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever (i.e. Himself), sat down at the right hand of God. . . . For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified”. (Heb. 10:12, 14). Paul goes on to say that because their sins have been remitted through Christ’s one perfect sacrifice, “there is no longer an offering for sin” (Heb. 10:18). Hebrews 10:26, in particular, is addressing Jewish nonbelievers who had heard preaching on Jesus being their Messiah, but who were still going back to the temple to offer animal sacrifices. This was an insult to the Spirit of grace, because they were flatly rejecting the Lord Jesus, Who in His great grace had offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice for their sins at Calvary. In addressing these people, the apostle the writer of Hebrews (most likely Paul) compares the imperfect priesthood of the law and its repeated temple sacrifices with the perfect priesthood and once-for-all sacrifice of Christ. the wilfull sin of Hebrews 10 is rejecting the Complete, Triumphant and Finished Work of Christ on the Cross, counting the Blood of Christ as an insufficient atonement needing to be supplemented by the blood of bulls and goats... RETURNING to animal Sacrifice, rather than trusting and believing and having complete and solid faith in the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world. The entire Book of Hebrews is about the superiority of Jesus Christ, His Priesthood, His Sacrifice, His Person, God the Son. This book was written to the Hebrews about the Superiority of Christ over the angels because Jesus Is the Son of God. Jesus Priesthood is superior to the Aaronic priesthood, because Jesus is a priest according the order of Melchizedek. Jesus Sacrifice is superior to the yearly sacrifice of bulls and goats because they were offered yearly but Jesus Blood once and for all time and for all sin, See Hebrews 9 (which precedes 10 and is setting up the context of Hebrews 10 of how temple sacrifice is obsolete and the blood of bulls and goats is no longer effective, only Jesus' blood has the power to cleanse sin once and for all time those who put their faith in Him). Hebrews 10 is telling those who are returning to temple sacrifice that THAT sin means they really have not believed The Gospel, have not understood Jesus' shed blood as being superior. Rather they are turning back to the inferior, the obsolete, trampling the Blood of Christ and there is then no repentance for sin, because JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. Context is key. This particular Scripture has frightened believers who think because they haven fallen into sin, there is no more possibility for them to repent. In Context the willful sin being discussed is rejecting the Gospel, not believing in Jesus' finished and complete work on the cross, not trusting Jesus' sacrifice as the only means of salvation. THAT SIN, is unredeemable. I personally struggled with this passage because if read out of context is SO FRIGHTENING... I think many of you will have been equally scared of becoming unforgivable too. Context is key beloveds. There is no fear of punishment for those who are In Christ, His Perfect Love, His Perfect Sacrifice casts out all fear. And no, this doesn't mean we are given license to just "sin it up". No. no. no. The Book of Hebrews is all about the Superiority of Christ/Messiah Jesus over All that came before Him. He is higher than the Angels because He is The Son of God. His priesthood is superior to the Aaronic priesthood because Jesus is a priest according to the order of Melchizedek. His Sacrifice (of Himself) is efficacious, (powerful and effective) for all time, and for all sin, of all those who trust in Him, have received His Sacrifice, believed His Gospel and abide in Him. I hope this helps people who might have heard otherwise mixed up teachings about this passage.

Can you tell me based on your knowledge if I fall under this scripture. I was born again at 19 but fell away from the faith into unbelief eventually into false doctrines like New Age stuff but now I want to come back to God I actually did eight months ago but now I don’t know if I’m really saved. Am I an apostate? I came to a place of not knowing whether the Bible was real, because it was written 300 years after Jesus died, and I didn’t know if Jesus was real at one point, but I loved his teachings I fell into great deception and realize now what a horrific decision I made walking away from the face when I was 19. The Scriptures are scary and I don’t know if rejecting Jesus means only one time after believing in him or until you die. Also, the scriptures in Hebrews 64 are pretty frightening as well.. I would greatly appreciate your honest response.especially since you’ve studied these scriptures . I’m so heartbroken 😞God bless

@@dawnalaia9984 The Gospels were written ten to fifteen after Jesus rose again. The three hundred years part is the Tanakh and the Brit Hadishah being put together and translated into Latin and we call it the bible today. If you're not sure then repent to Jesus knowing that none of us is worthy but He paid the price and we get the free gift, then follow him. Look for transformation and the complete repulsion to sin. I a backslider, I had to repent earlier this week because I had fallen into sin for the last four months so I know where you're at Honey. The Lord is faithful even when we are completely faithless for He can not deny Himself 2 Timothy 2:13. Make the declaration and then believe it's done. Read the bible like never before and get some verses down to strengthen yourself that you're saved like Hebrews 10:14-19 and 1 john 5:10-13. Have a blessed day. Shalom!

A very committed one, by the way... And twisted The Word o so slightly.... He preached the Word, but by only changing a word here and there, it was also perfectly acceptable to the Masons. That was very sad for me. Because we know that many people come to know Christ under his preachings...

I heard another Evangelical Pastor discuss this and it’s not against God if a person gets cremated! Got can pull our ashes back together, if he desires, but those of us who are believers and born again, will get a glorified body as we go to heaven!
@lmullett410610 ай бұрын
I cannot find anything in scripture saying cremation is sinful. ( although the Roman’s did this to bodies of believers to try to crush their hopes for resurrection)It only speeds up the “to dust you will return” process that will inevitably happen to our bodies after death anyway. Most Christian’s don’t doubt that God will have no problem at the The resurrection if you are cremated. I think it’s a personal choice that should be discussed with your family.

I think when you see what Peter did in denying Christ himself, who was probably only less than a mile away and Peter is definitely saved, born again, spiritually reborn, born from above, you see how much grace Jesus offers us; Such that we can use that as a sort of barometer as to where you are in your justification, and your sanctification.

My family and I have backsliden. I am afraid we might loose our salvation.😢 I have a marital crissis, so big that is killing us spiritually. We (my children and I),cannot understand why God has allowed this for so long.😢

Why are you judging God. It's in God's time not our. I have had some of those issues myself. You ain't alone.

Love and prayers !So sorry for how tough life is. 😢 Every Christian I know is under duress ,you are NOT alone . The closer to God I get,the more the demons come for me . Let us endure and I pray that God sends you friends and a church That surrounds you and helps you during these difficult times. I’m not sure your marital situation ,but please do not stay in an abusive situation 🥹

I'm not afraid of serving Jesus and fully surrendering everything of me to him. I am afraid of being a Apostate and hearing. His name does not appear Lord.

I have been watching Pastor Jack for 2 years now. I wish I could find a church that reads the Bible. Tonight the church I attend read 1 verse and the rest was talk about the Super Natural . I'm so confused about the Super Natural this Church keeps spaeking about. I have never once heard Pastor Jack say that .

If your pastor is not using the Bible in his teaching please leave your church. God is about the supernatural but it must Aline with scripture and the focus Should ALWAYS give the glory to God🙌🏼⚔️♥️

What you say at 32:49 through 33:04 is that you can go too far otherwise why would God need to bring you home prematurely to save you eternally. Can you further explain your thoughts on this?

The apostacy does not happen until Satan is thrown out of heaven and disguised as Jesus Rev 6 given a bow, a cheap fabric imitation in the Greek and tells everybody he's Jesus, they believe him. Why because they didn't read the contract between God and them They believed a man: who also is deceived. That's too sad to describe right there.

THIS is an extremely important and timely and timeless message, completely relevant for today, which applies even to the offended democrats from January 2024, who don't understand they're apostates and that God is angry with the wicked All day long! He who doesn't obey Jesus, the wrath of God still abides upon that person!!! Because they didn't receive AND will not receive the love of the Truth, God will send them a strong delusion so that they won't be able to believe His Truth, but the lie! Maybe God will grant them repentance, as we see in the letter to Laodicea, which means democracy, we see Jesus Christ Himself at the door making a last call to repent only to THOSE WHO will hear His voice, which implies that Laodicea in and of itself is beyond repair, is beyond remedy, is beyond repentance!

There’s no debate it is clear. We have to hear Gods agenda not man’s explanations. Only the Holy spirit will lead us into all truth. We could say that Paul was only speaking to the Jews well the we are all doomed because the word of God is fo us all.
