You quoted Luke 6 vs. 38, you also asked me if paying offering is bribery to God? Let me start with Luke 6 vs. 38. What Jesus was teaching us here was NOT concerning money. HE was teaching us that whatever(love) we give to the earth(people, plants, animals, etc.) is what the earth will give back to us. The measure you give the measure you get. HE was not talking about money here. If Jesus was talking about money here, we would have bought our salvation with money. He gave us his salvation freely. Remember his word in Acts 20 vs.35, let me summarize it: "It is better to give than to receive." Will this verse not contradict His word in Luke 6 vs. 38 if HE was talking about money there? Think about it, sir. To your second question, if I am giving an offering to God and EXPECTING a return, that is me trying to bribe God. The concept of giving in some of the African/Nigerian church is transactional. The church expects us to give to receive from God. We keep forgetting His word in Matthew 10 vs. 7-8 "freely ye have received, freely give. That's why I said we can't "bribe God." God's blessings("money") can not and will not be bought with offering, tithe, sow seeds, first fruits, etc. He has given us dominion on this earth, which he freely gave us. I will end with this, Matthew 25 vs. 35-37 and also Luke 10 vs 25 - 37. Please 🙏 read these Bible verses.
