Question for you, Chuck. I notice that a day or so after Damascus you’ve been sporting a new hiking shirt. I can’t make out the brand name. What kind of long sleeve sun shirt are you wearing these days? How do you like it? I like the drawstring on the hood, been looking for one like that for some time. There’s no real brand name on it. It just has a B on it. It’s just something I picked up off Amazon

Awesome job getting to Damascus!🎉🎉🎉 How did your numbers line up with your start number?

I actually increased by almost 100. I started at 274 and entered Harper’s Ferry at 338. Usually the number goes down simply by attrition, but with my injury, and other factors, we’ve taken quite a few zeros. We should still finish by the end of August or first of September

Sorry, got another question….. what is the “extra” water bottle holder on your front back pack strap? I have been looking online and cant really decide which is ‘best’ Thank you in advance!

It’s made by Zpacks. To me it’s indispensable. I have a hard time reaching behind me to get it out of the pack, so I use the front one for quick access and the one in back as extra water. I move the one in back to the front when I run out.
