The Kittatiny Mountains is the ridge you walked from the Delaware Water Gap up to High point New Jersey. It's a continuation of Blue mountain that you were hiking in Pennsylvania. It continues in New York as the Shawangunk Ridge. When you were in the area of Wawayanda, you had dropped down off the Kittatinnies and then ascended Bearfort Mountain which becomes Bellvale Mountain in New York. And by now, you're probably to Fingerboard Shelter, overlooking Lake Tiorati in the heart of Harriman.

Amazing to think about walking 1,300 miles and all the wonderful people and experiences you’ve shared. Thanks for bringing us along. I have had a pair of Temps, I think they are a little more cushioned than the Lone Peaks. Hopefully you will enjoy them as well.

They are more cushioned. So far I like them, but they don’t seem as durable as the lone peaks. The people are the best part of this journey

Born on Long Island, spent a few years growing up on South Jersey. I loved for about 8 years in nc. One year I figured I go do some ancestry hunting in NY. One advantage I had over you was I had no rocks to contend with….only fools and idiots on the hwy!

We camped at Delaware Water Gap during a storm. Lightning, thunder and downpour all night . Congratulations on another state and 1300 miles completed! Happy safe hiking.

After college, I moved from Michigan to New Jersey. Driving through the Delaware Water Gap to my new home, I was thinking "Maybe this state is okay!" It is lovely. Too bad the AT doesn't go up Mount Tammany, the mountain on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap. The views there are incredible.
