Eric did a really nice job on that one, those Legacy diesel switchers with the center mounted motor and drive shafts to the trucks are some of, if not THE, best running engines in the 3 rail market today.

The NW2 and SW7 are the same loco. Paint is what separates them. So love them both! Keep up the great work, love your videos

Ya cool visit to Eric’s layout. Question: with the “Lions app” do you get all the Lagacy Features out of the engine? I ask because I don’t have a Lagacy system but just acquired a New NW2 Detroit Terminal Switcher. I do have a Lionel Cab1 base. -Thanks

Very nice video. Eric has such and exceptional layout. I wish that I had that kind of room, but my basement is subdivided into four rooms, with my layout room being a 33 x 24 L, with the new layout just starting. Your layout is just perfect, with plenty of action in a compact space. Those pieces on top of the exhaust stacks are actually spark arresters. Many of the older EMD"s would kick up sparks, especially when starting and after sitting for a while when running. I've run quite a few GP's and SD's that would throw sparks like crazy in my career. Either way, those are fine models. Keep up the great videos and I look forward to your next one. Happy Thanksgiving.
