Sadie Update 1630 hrs. 3.24.24 After an all night 8 hr. thermal drone search she has not been found. There have been several credible sittings near Max Patch.

Josh Hall perished in Colorado while hiking the Rockies with his dog two years ago, but his dog was found alive on a road a week later 25 miles away. So getting photos of the dog up in the surrounding community could help too. Just in case nobody considered. Thank you again Ramdino. You are awesome.

Hey Ramdino, my wife and I had a cool experience when we were in Gatlinburg this past weekend. We were able to get a few hikers back on trail by taking them to Newfound Gap and back on trail on Saturday. While there we were able to bring a few back to Gatlinburg and then took them back on Sunday morning to get back on trail. Super cool experience and was happy to help while we were celebrating our Anniversary in Gatlinburg.

Late to watch last part of vid. Thanks for AT info Ramdino. Hiked north from Carvers Gap last Fri and there are 2 flat sites and then the Stan Murray shelter(no privy) roughly 1-2 hrs past the CG TH.

I’d really consider Hawk Mt campsites over the shelter, especially given the illness. 30 sidehill tents pads, still has bear boxes, privy and water. Last night there were 22 tents at Hawk, which makes for super tight quarters. Lots more space at the campsites.

Typically I don't see cat holes that close. So if you have a well in the back, the septic tank can be in the front yard

Bed bugs are a horror! And once you've got 'em, they're near impossible to get rid of. I wouldn't go near any hostel with a bed bug problem!

Jeez…bed bugs? I’ve never seen bed bugs. I’m heading out to start my thru in a few weeks and thought my only fears were bears, rattlesnakes and ticks. Now bedbugs. What can one do to protect themself?

Hmmm, not sure your point, but I always lead with who's on trail amd hit the news last. That's just the way I do it. Sadie was first and I had already put out a short on Sadie. Not sure what else you expect but sorry to disappoint.
