Had to laugh at the morning talk….. we’ve all been there…so warm, but the only path to coffee is to go get it.

What was I doing with my eyes! Watching it back I almost cut that part out completely, but decided to leave it in.

Harriman is so nice this time of the year. Especially week days, still gets a little crowed on the weekends. Thankfully i only live about 20min away so i can choose my days. LOL. I actually had the motorcycle out yesterday driving through the park. It was beautiful ride although they do close a few roads down in the winter. Thank you much for sharing and look forward to your next trek

I've been enjoying getting out there!

Been through there a million times. There's a nice view west from bald rocks.... A few more degrees warmer and I'll be up there myself. 😁

It wasn't too bad out there, a few degrees warmer would have been nicer though!

I always enjoy your hikes Mark. Outdoor Vitals is sponsoring another 100 mile challenge this year and I am planning to do it again this year. Last year did Batona Trail in NJ. This year not sure yet but looking at the Susquehanock Trail System in PA. Problem is it’s a 6 hour drive. Take Care

6 hours isn't too much for a great trip!

Loved the clip at the end. My original comment was going to be kudos for going through Lemon squeezer multiple times to get the shots! How busy was the shelter area?

Thanks, it was a good weekend to get out. The shelter saw a lot of traffic, but I was the only one who camped out there.

That area looks really pretty and your campsite looked great. How did your coffee turn out in the Aeropress?

Like I mentioned in the short I had some technical issues, some of which persisted throughout the entire trip. Gotta figure out what’s going on.

@@SpiguyverBackpacking1 Hopefully you figure it out. I'm currently editing a trip video with new software and it has its own challenges. Having fun though.

I've looked at switching to new software with more features and potential, but I am very comfortable with what I currently use and it's tough to move away from something that I've been using for so long.

Since you are hiking alone do you have. Garmin GPS or a Spot to get help should you get injured?

I have a Garmin InReach Mini, but all of the areas I've been lately have cell coverage, and the new iPhone has satellite SOS capability!
