Regarding ticks, check as well, at your waistline.A friend of mine is a Ranger and he almost always gets them there. Checking there along with the obvious, like ankles and sock line… love your videos. Love your hike as well!! I’m an HSP. I feel deeply. It’s a gift and a curse. Sometimes I drive people crazy. I can also always see outcomes and want to help people steer in a different direction which also drives them crazy. So now I try to be the watcher. If they fall it’s a lesson for them to learn. ❤

Jessica, I just left my grandkids this morning and my sweet as pie 5 year old who is in Kindergarten told me last night that the word they learned in school was empathy and she said Grandma do you know what that is? I said yes and she proceeded to tell me it is when her heart and my heart are the same with feelings....so smart and sweet and then proceeded to ask for snacks from my Airstream....she is your doppelganger I think. LOL I could on for days about her.

Forgot to update you on my daughter (sorry) surgery was “flawless” to quote surgeon. Totally unexpected but I believe there was a higher power evolved. Now for recovery! Not gunna lie I was really scared. Have fun in the Whites, tough but my favorite part. There is a man Philip Garcia who is literally mountain man of the whites. He has done every trail in a single season and has been hiking for like past 3years.

Sunshine, you look like a nun because all of what you're wearing around you in the tent is covering everything but your face in black 😅. So your Vlogs are 3 weeks ahead of actual time so you must be done with the trail by now. I'm happy that you're going back to civilian life but I'm so bummed that you're not choosing to do the pct, although I fully understand after being on the trail for 100 and what, 50 days maybe?
