So as far as I can tell "the dirty bubble" refers to a specific "tramIly" that hiked the AT in 2020 or there about! ❤

Dirty bubble mostly refers to a hiking tramily that consist of mostly hippies gurus eclectic people that found each other on the trail. This is a definition as per Google search.

I’m about to hike with my eldest daughter for the first time! We have a very woodsy trail nearby that leads to a reservoir, and I hike it often, but always have to turn back before getting to the reservoir, due to my youngest daughter’s feeding needs. But hubby will be taking care of her while I take my eldest hiking, so we just might reach it!😃🥰

Congratulations on making 300 miles. Captain, inflating the mattresses by mouth will generate moisture, which may cause them to deteriorate faster than you would expect or like.

I’m curious about the bidet. We got one but haven’t tried it on trail yet( or anywhere else). What is the learning curve like? I feel like it would be messy, I really don’t understand how to use it and not get clothes wet. Also, welcome back to The Trail!!

Captain, i carried both my sleeping liner and bag the whole way. You can do all different combos, like putting your pad in the liner, or sleeping on your bag and in your liner when hot out. I would of had a thinner quilt sent to me but my person at home kinda sucked at sending me the items i asked for 😂

Regarding the bidet, do you squeeze the bottle from behind your back or are you placing the bottle in front, between your legs? There are videos with guys but I've not seen one with women explaining how to use it. Do you pat dry after with TP or bandana? A longer video would be appreciated. Thank you!
