I hope this series brings out emotion, provokes some thought, and gives you some things to consider. I KNOW...SOME THINGS ARE NOT DONE PROPPERLY. THATS INTENTIONAL! I DONT CARE ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT SMOKING....ITS PART OF THE CHARACTER...... TAKE WHAT YOU CAN FROM THE SERIES....EVEN THE STUFF I DO WRONG. FINALLY....THIS IS FICTION, WHAT THE CHARACTER DOES, MAY NOT BE WHAT I DO FOR REAL.

Here in Ozarkistan we have: No local police, zoning, building codes, permits or inspections of any kind. Call 911 and responses can be measured in hours. Folks here produce most of their own calories. Sherrif is OK with landowners arresting and bringing suspects caught on said landowners property directly to his jail. So... when it all goes to hell, things will be like normal here. PS: what's with bayojitsu scene...and no bayonet? Lol.

Hey as a thought; don’t bring out your electronics first. It should be something you do AFTER A WEEK! FOLLOW UP ATTACKS WILL BE LIKELY! Wait a week; and then take them out! Please share this! Also if everything turns off and you are home; open your main breaker and all others, and unplug everything in your house. It may be too late but this can seriously help you later. EMP’s are powerful! And can take hours/days to finish. Humans are trash and may wait to set off subsequent emps, and your preps are your only known resources!

@@neilhatfield-f3uwe were not allowed to smoke when tactical on a patrol or ambush, etc...., hence all the dip use amongst infantry types, that was where we would get nicotine. When I was in, way back when, smoking was somewhat encouraged, the "smoke them if you got them" and everyone else had to keep on doing what it was they were told to do. I think they knew nicotine was a stimulant and was much better than the use of amphetamines which had been used in the past. That I do not know for a fact (the smoking), but I know "speed" was once used but are no longer used. When I was in, in basic training cigarettes were one of the only "luxuries" you were allowed to purchase on the platoon visits to the shoppette.

I believe that those of us who have experienced battle should view this in two lights. One is a sort of nuclear option M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction) threat. We've seen combat and we will be a pain in the ass to "clear out." The other though, is that we need to be that much more motivated to connect with our communities and make a hostile act against them unthinkable. An ounce of prevention is worth buckets of blood.

Any decent invading enemy either domestic or foreign will know about how we communicate and use jamming units to hamper and intercept our comms. Installing wire comm lines that spread out from the CP to outer points on the perimeter then expand the line network as you expand your perimeter ring. These lines can be concealed/buried and used as a primary or secondary means of communication but ensure they aren’t all connected to one net, have a switchboard at the CP so each zone is its own isolated sector in event of enemy capture. You can naturally improve the security of your property by planting thick bushes and trees that are a bitch to walk through and require serious cutting, this will divert an enemy to an area of your choosing. Use a backhoe to dig deep anti-vehicular obstacle then cover them up so when you need to use them you can replace the strong cover with a weaker one so when a vehicle drives over it’ll sink in. Getting the enemy on foot is the only intention for these types of obstacles.
@ModernFrontiersman10 ай бұрын
true...but was it an invading enemy??
@echohunter419910 ай бұрын
@@ModernFrontiersman I have to consider the possibility of a clandestine invader such as 300,000 military age men sneaking across our borders a month or, a domestic threat of some force say maybe the IRS who for some reason bought millions of ammunition as if they’ll actually be using it. A low quality force can be effective if there’s a shitload of them attacking a smaller enemy in defense. But if for some reason any one of the major belligerents around the world team up and actually invade us, who knows what will happen or how our government and military will respond. If I were Russia and China, I’d have pre-positioned nukes buried all over the place already so I wouldn’t have to worry about defeating anti-missile defenses. Just my thoughts on the topic, sorry for getting long winded.
