Apparel Shopping Southeast Asia: Identifying Authentic versus Fakes

This video will show you how - when apparel shopping in Southeast Asia -to identify fake apparel from real apparel, with actual examples of both, so you can get the best bargain available and know exactly what you are buying. I’m mainly referring to the Under Armour, Adidas, Nike, etc., you’ll see in the markets but also, I’m including silk purchasing. You should know you the real Under Amour, Adidas, and other brands are made here in Southeast Asia and a portion of that apparel goes out the back door for discount sale at local markets. You will not find this information anywhere else on how to identify real apparel from fake, and additionally I am going to show you how to negotiate and use superstition to your shopping advantage in Southeast Asia. Also, I’ll show you the differences in negotiating with Thai versus Vietnamese, which will probably be the two most prevalent markets you will find yourself in. Finally, I’ll show you the best, most accessible markets in Southeast Asia, and explain why.

Many wise recommendations. Some new to me, but I can second the different cultures in Thailand and Vietnam and how it influence all aspects of society. For a period I liked to buy fake watches - just for fun with absolutely no expectations -and the quality varied hugely. A Calvin Cline watch started to rust (?) the next day. An Omega I got on Dong Khoi gave up when the plane lifted from Tan Son Nhat.. But a fake Rolex from Sukhumvit lasted for two years, its looked so good that I even used it publicly on occation. Thanks, Doc. I live up north in the Fang district but my grandkids are in Hot so I make the trip through CNX monthly. It never occurred to me to try B&B online.
