Here, you seem to have not described the lowland Laos and highland Laos enough. I learned a lot of information about the time from people including Colonel Khao Insixiengmay. Vang pao and his Miao warriors were very brave, but the assistance of the lowland Laos and highland Laos SGU troops should not be ignored. Without the SGU from Luang Prabang and Savannakhet (especially GM30, GM31, GM33, etc.), it is still unknown whether Long Tieng can be held!

That one statement says it all: The new President, Bill Clinton, wants to improve relations with Viet Nam so the info was... Were there people left behind? Yes. Did the government cover it up? Yes. Are those people still alive? Most if not all are dead. To expose this now, especially before the election, would destroy a certain political party. No wonder no one wants to serve. The government will continue to release small amounts of information quietly and in such a fashion as to actually mask it in historical documents so the public at large will never see it. Therefore the government escapes blame or responsibility. Thank you for this well done video.
