IIRC the majority of motorcycle related deaths are alcohol related. Another major contributor is improper safety gear. Most do not wear sufficient or even ANY gear at all.

Blame tiktok. Thousands of new riders are starting out because they see guys on BMWS1000RR's going 150mph and saying "I want to do that".

Yup, I can see that being a contributing factor, too. Social media has a big influence on people.

I doubt many tiktok kids are buying a $20k bike to start with. This is "Marilyn Manson and GTA caused Columbine" logic.
