Super Mario 64 is subject to an urban legend, that being the personalization of every copy. The game will change and adapt to suit it's player, and there have been many who claim to see new characters, small changes, new maps and even strange creatures, like a Wario head who will chase you until the very end.

And now, V2 has him co-existing with a variation of the personalization AI, being Stanley from SM64: CLASSIFIED. However, this Wario Apparition is a lot stronger compared to his CLASSIFIED counterpart, as that version couldn't even show up on-screen without causing the game to bug out.

This one in my opinion is the most underrated here, however as much as I prefer the original this one isn’t bad, I think chromatic is a bit weird but I like still. The sprites are a lot better, vhs effect referencing the original. I like it still, great job coders, charters, artist, animators, and friedrick!

I pretty much like both versions. The first version sounded like an intense rock band battle, with my only nitpick with the Wario Apparition sounding too much like Waluigi. However here, not only does The Wario Apparition have 100% original vocals, but BF actually escapes the Wario Apparition, something seemingly not accomplished in V1. And the strings at the end of Apparition V2 make the entire song more intense as BF is trying to escape the Wario Apparition (which he does by the end of the song).

While not bad of course, this one gives me vibes of "remastered just for the sake of being remastered". The OG was absolutely fine and I loved how it sounded like an oldschool thriller at the end. BF's running animation is definitely way better here tho!

People are gonna hate me for this but i think v1 is overrated. It’s just the vocals for wario and the running g animation for BF. I just personally like this one because it’s a bit more sharp because it actually sounds like wario now and BF doesnt look stupid as hell anymore (EDIT: i forgot to mention the “you want fun? Wario will show you fun!” It just adds so much personality.)
