I love how you used the examples to explain the concepts. It helped a ton with actually seeing and internalizing the knowledge! Thank you guys!

Fantastic content! You can know all of the buttons I zbrush, but if you don't know how to apply your technical knowledge to artist skill, it's not worth much. Thanks so much for making this. This is great to have in between heavy technical learning.

What is the name of the artist who sculpted the first sculpture? The seated female figure?

I need to look at more traditional marvel sculpts.

Does this apply for 2d too?
@FlippedNormals4 жыл бұрын
It does. These principles can be extended to any part of design. Not just 3d, and not just characters
@IGarrettI4 жыл бұрын
Pikachu is in 2D, these silhouetted are in 2D, the images of sculptures you look at are in 2D. Do still wonder if these principles apply to 2D?

Been a fan of your guys' videos for a while now, but just wanted to add that I think the noise suppression you have on the videos might be a little too strong. The audio drops and peaks are quite distracting when listening to you both speak, even though I can normally still understand what you're saying just fine. Everything else is fine of course, just wanted to make that known. Thank you for all the videos!
@ToTheMaxolo4 жыл бұрын
Yes, while I really enjoy the content presented the audio shifts are really distracting... I'm really thinking about buying that sculpting course but I'm afraid about the audio quality...

Well modern Pikachu started with the animated series. That's Ash's Pikachu, meaning it's supposed to look more spunky and agile. He's a young fighter with his best buddy trainer.

It reminds me of those old "IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THINGS CUTE, YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT BIG EYES, AND HAVE IT BE BABY LIKE" And these old like, 2013 uncanny baby drawings you use to see as "The key to cute"It's like how if aliens kept humans as pets, they wouldn't know what we liked, so they would give us something like Giant nutritious insects for "Us to love them, because we should love what gives us the most vitamins, and Proteins" Disturbing out of touch stuff, that people automatically believe "Is the best thing on earth" because it hit all the requirements. It's like how you do the least amount of effort into an essay for school. Its boring, it does what's assigned to you, and its not the most interesting to read. You've seen 30, 50 of the same essays in your life. Slap on glitter to appeal to girls, or slap on gross stuff to make it appeal to boys. It's disturbing, its not how people work. Also, When you pulled up "generic disney" completely lost on who, or what that was Which, made the point you had uber clear
