Hokkaido is probably the most recognised ski resort for international guests. But once you try other resorts in Japan, you realise there are endless choices of resorts you could try!! Do share your Appi experience with us if you ever go!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I still remember skiing Appi as a kid in the 80s! Loved it! My Dad would wake us up at 5am to make the trip from Misawa.

Thank you. Guessing the drive would have been longer back then from Misawa than today. Still.. must have been awesome being able to go skiing in the morning and get back by the end of the day!

Thanks for the video, I am so regret that didnt watch yr video before planning my trip. Now i will be going this Xmas exactly like yr siltation all restaurants are fulled booked. Likely I have nothing to eat for dinner.

Hehe.. there's alternatives though: 1. You can get instant noodles at the on-site shops 2. Dine at the "expensive" conveniently empty western restaurant, if budget allows 3. Take a bus out to town (about 10-15 mins out) and try local restaurants We did all 3 x above :)
