Apple Airpod 2nd, 3rd generation connect to Sony TV | Bluetooth

I paired my bluetooth device through bluetooth scanner app and it paired but when went back to bluetooth settings they are not connecting. There are only two options unpair and change name when pressed on paired device name. Please help

worked perfectly onexpensive Sony Bravia tv I haven gave up months ago using the Apple EarPods, but I was determined to finally use my Apple AirPods Pro and was about to buy Chromecast as a work around. Cheers buddy ,you made my wife happy as she is always whining about my movie watching :)

I was able to get mine to show up under registered devices, but doesn’t say connected. Keep going back and forth between settings add device and app…nothing seems to work.

Worked well although if youre connecting to a bluetooth speaker youll need to go to settings on tv then display and sound then audio output then speakers. At this point click speakers and select audio system then click headphones/audio out and click Subwoofer. Youll change this based on the type of device you are connecting with

My tv has been updated I have KD-55X8000H and now I can't connect with this app. The inbuilt Bluetooth doesn't pick up anything and the Bluetooth scanner app no longer brings up the "you want to pair" screen. Anyone else had this problem. I reset the whole tv to factory settings too and still nothing
