Thanks, this is the best setup I've seen so far I've seen on KZbin. One suggestion though, for ANC test, it would be nice to simulate a few different types of noise, traffic, transit, airplane, air conditioner, coffee shop....or even better, take the binaural mic to the coffee shop and busy streets ... etc for real life ANC tests. JimsReviewRoom used to do those real life tests with binaural mic but he stopped doing KZbin reviews.

In fact, I've tried both. Both are excellent, but the sound of Huawei freebuds Pro is better and richer than the AirPods Pro. On the other hand, Apple has outperformed Huawei in terms of noise cancellation. Both are good but I would choose Huawei FreeBuds Pro because of its excellent price. I hope Apple will do the same and put good and acceptable prices.

thats exactly what i was gonna say, well not exactly, but similar...the sound quality seem very close to me, im gonna give it a tie. huawei wins in mic, apple wins in noise cancelling, but huawei wins significantly in price. so huawei wins over all.

The Huawei Freebuds Pro are the most underrated in-ear of 2020-2021. They are sooooo good! It baffles me that they are not praised by more to be among the very best in their category. I've been through lots of different models that was rated to be among the best, but always experienced some problems.. Bluetooth connection drops, bad call quality, bad earfit, ect.. but these just works flawlessly. rich sound with media.. didn't try loosing connection to Bluetooth even once, and call quality is top notch in all scenarios. Lovvveeee them! And btw. I bought them because of your review 👍

@@orepoutanes I'm not sure I would. Let me explain why. In regards to call quality they are so good and no else headphones I tried even comes close to these in regards to call quality. I mean I can go fast on my bicycle on a windy day, and people most times won't even notice Im on the bike. I can even vacuum clean the house and still have a conversation. Their ability to suppress unwanted surrounding noise keeps surprising me. Again I never experienced a headset able to doing it this good. BUT. I have had big problems with the noise cancel function since an firmware update a long time ago. They started making a buzzing sound (impossible to use with anc). turned them in for repair at a Huwai certified repairshop 3 times, and they never could fix the problem. They acknowledge that they are faulty.. tell me they reapired them.. get them bavk still faulty.. Turn them in again.. they are like.. Ohh yes we can definitely hear they are faulty.. "repair them" get them back.. still faulty... It's been so frustrating them not being able to fix it, to a point I've just given up. Before this happend I would have recommended anybody to buy them, and would without the blink of an eye bought the pro 2's. But this experience have made me VERY cautious about recommending them to anybody and/or buy any Huawei product in the future. I know I'm not the only one who had this experience/fault with them too. If you should buy them, I would make sure they are updated with latest firmware from the store, test if the ANC make a buzz in 1 or both ears (you won't be in doubt.. its pretty bad). if they do.. dont get them.. if they are ok, then you should be fine.. Or at least make sure to tell the store that you heard that there could be issue's in regards to firmware update making a buzz sound afterwards and should this happen to your's, that they accept a full refund no questions asked. As a last note,. The repair-shop here in Denmark is not a Huawei only.. They are just licensed to do repairs for them. So can be in my case they are just useless/clueless on how to fix these. But.. again.. Really bad experience, and because of this i kinda put Huawei on hold for future buys.

Huawei pro is amazing. I used it for 5.5 hours yesterday, and my ear never feel uncomfortable. Really for good for a phone call, when you are in noisy outside. Can connect with two devices, works well with my iPad & MacBook together. But if I change it from Apple to Huawei, needs to reset ( there is a button on the right side of the box, just put the Free Buds in, then press the button to connect. ) Also, don’t forget, after connecting to Android system, you want to connect to Mac again. You need to remove it from ur Mac first, then search the device and reconnect. If you don’t remove it, after you connect, it still doesn’t work. So from my experience is that better use it for one system. Until now I haven’t downloaded an App, and it may not be necessary.

Airpods have better sound and mic by just a hair, but aren't as comfortable, don't have true multipoint outside of apple devices, and just don't play as well with android. Keep the videos coming!

This was a very well organized review and comparison, literally the first to answer my questions regarding the sound quality. Nobody wants to bother to record it, even though apparently there are these ear devices-addons available. It would have been even better if there was a part where the sound switched between the two devices back and forth so you can detect more easily the changes, and also if there was different genres of royalty free music presented. Overall I loved the way it was segmented though, good work!

No issues at all :) I'll say it will also depend on which price you'll be getting if there isn't much of difference between the Prices of these too then Airpods Pro will be worth it And if there's around 70-100$ dollar difference... Definitely Get The Freebuds Pro .. You'll love it

Hello Dave ! For the latency test it's more iOS vs Android because the latency of almost all tws is much less on iOS than on Android, it's not specific to airpods pro so it's to be fixed for the next tests. For sound tests, ANC and transparency it would also be necessary ANC vs ANC Transparency vs. Transparency. Otherwise it's hard to appreciate the differences For the sound alternate between opponents so that can feel if there really is a noticeable difference. Thank you🙏🏽
