I would take this review with a grain of salt. It baffles me how the ipod pros can even compete with the bose in call quality. Everyone I talk to says my bose sound much better and the pros make me sound robotic. People can't hear any back ground noise with the bose either, but they can tell when I'm driving if I use my pros. On my end the bose are way easier to hear people even when I go for a run. Friends can immediately tell when Im out on a run with the pros and it's not immediate with the bose. The breathing noises seem to get ignored with the bose.

I saw your review last night, followed your recommendation and immediately ordered a pair of Liberty 3 Pro's from Amazon, which arrived this afternoon. I really wasn't expecting much. I've never been into skull or ear candy. I've had a few mid price phones and plugs in the past and never been impressed. However, these things sound amazing. The bass really pumps. The drive is like that you get from valve amps. It's truly remarkable that a miniaturized amp and speaker can sound like this. Old punks (like me!), metal heads, thrash merchants and grungy pants, even house/acid/electro dance merchants will love these. That bass even make studio albums sound like live gigs - not stadium gigs with their appalling sound systems - but like gigs in winter gardens etc in the 70's and 80's where you could feel the walls and your guts shaking. OK neutral they ain't and I haven't played with any settings yet. I don't really feel inclined to tbh. I like things to just sound good out of the box. One thing I wasn't prepared for is the noise cancellation. I've never owned noise cancelling things before. I have to say it's surprisingly effective. I live next to a very busy main road and the traffic only stops for about 2 hours between 3am and 5am each and every morning. I couldn't hear a single vehicle with these in. Great stuff. They're also the most comfortable plugs I've ever experienced. I forgot I had them in when I went for a fag in the back garden. Still couldn't hear the road traffic and I was amused when they completely cut out at approximately 10m, then instantly re-connected as I rocked back on my heels. It's like there's a precise invisible force field in my garden. They don't break up like cheap plugs. They're on or they're off and when they're off they immediately re-connect when you move back into the effective range. I like that. So thanks for the heads up. I'm a very happy bunny.

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzbin.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Thank you! So the ANC performance is about average for the 1More earbuds - far from the level of the earbuds featured in the top 3 here. The audio is pretty good though, above average and not as big a gap. But still, i've picked out the very best 3 sounding earbuds (they are still a big step up from 1More). Good balance, but lacking the clarity and soundstage of those market leaders. It's been a while since I listened to them though, but when I was testing them they still didn't have an EQ to tweak the sound either, which is a shame

This is easily the best video of earbuds that I've seen, and I've seen almost everyone, good job ! I would love that you answer my question, I don't want to bother you but I am really indecisive with this 3, I liked them a lot 🙃 What's the better option for my profile between this ones: LG Tone Free FP9, Technics EAH-AZ60 and Jabra Elite 85T (In Spain they're priced around 150€, 0 difference in price) My profile is quite simple: 1. I am not an Audiophile, i just want buds to sound really good and loud 2. Comfort for long hours use 3. Extra good bass sound (my fav) without losing a lot of mids and lows 4. Nice sound to watch movies and series on my computer/smart tv

Yes, Buds Pro were definitely tested (I think they're even in the thumbnail somewhere but hard to spot). Hi, great video! I just purchased the elite 7 actives instead of the elite 7 pros because I got a sizable discount on them. The 7 actives are essentially the same as the 7 pros save for slightly worse call quality and I chose them mainly because I will mainly use my buds for working out and read that they have a slightly better fit than the pros. Not sure if you've tried the 7 actives, but if you have, what is your opinion on them?
@insidetechltd
@insidetechltd 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! Yes I own the 7 Active as well and you pretty much said it yourself! It’s strange that Jabra makes such similar models really, I think they could just combine the Pro with the sporty/grip texture of the Active and have only one model. They’re a barely any difference in them! I really like the new Jabra lineup though. Really good quality all round!
@beerus9000
@beerus9000 2 жыл бұрын
@@insidetechltd Very true, they are too similar not to be combined, but I guess Jabra likes separating models sometimes to appeal to different niches (ie. business oriented people buy the pros, whereas outdoorsy people buy the actives). Thanks for your opinion! I had heard a lot of people say it's not worth upgrading or that the 75t's are better but the main reason I waited to upgrade from my 65t's is because I was waiting for this lineup.

Having used them for over a year my favorite earbuds are actually the google pixel buds for one reason and one reason only, their design is perfect. Their flat design and extremely small size and light weight is in my opinion exactly how wireless earbuds should be designed. If im going for audio quality or noise canceling im not going to use wireless earbuds anyways so those factors are not important to me, and the audio quality is perfectly fine on them anyways. They are these tiny little dots in your ear that barely stick out meaning: other people can barely tell you're wearing them, you can comfortably rest your head on things, and you can put other over-ear headphones comfortably over them (perfect for light music during boring work calls and gaming). Because of their light weight and how they sit in you ear they will never fall out while working out either.

@@insidetechltd lol by all accounts , yeah I suppose is misleading. So I’ll rephrase. From the few reviews I’ve seen. Crinacle comes to mind, seem to say the sound is as good if not better than anything on the market. Very pure sound profile. And at the moment in the US you can get them for 50 dollars. I live in Manchester so that turns to 100 quid for us. Only thing putting me off if some people on forums complain they are buggy with dropped connections. So I think if they are buggy sending them back to the US will be a pain. And more importantly I don’t think my ears are tuned enough to absolutely notice these minute differences. Additionally some musician friends of mine keep telling me to try some IEMs as they are simply on another level to these earbuds with 3 separate drivers etc? Which I definitely would notice a big difference, I don’t know if you can comment on that at all? Thanks again
@insidetechltd
@insidetechltd 2 жыл бұрын
Yes i'd be wary importing anything from the states, especially if there are supposed issues. I'd be interested to see if they can outperform the top 3 here though! As for noticing a difference...it really depends on each person. We all hear differently and i've personally always struggled when it comes to tiny differences at the very top level. A lot of the time, the extra frequencies high-end earbuds/IEMs give you are out of the typical human hearing range. Same thing happens with slight differences in codecs, it's often a very subtle difference. I think in a blind test, a lot of people wouldn't actually be able to consistently distinguish these differences. But because we expect them to be better, our brain tells us they sound a lot better. For professional work, or in close environments where you're purely focussed on the music, I think it might be worth looking into. But certainly not in everyday situations (which earbuds are designed for)

Thanks a lot! So it really depends on how well they fit your ears, which is obviously different for everyone. For me I can run with them and they don't fall out, but they do move a little. I wouldn't cycle with them for that reason because i'd want something that guarantees the fit in my ears (perhaps something with wingtips) and that's why they didn't place high in the workouts section. For some people, they will fit perfectly though, which would instantly bump them up the workouts list (the IP rating is good enough for most exercises). Best thing to do is to try them and see how they fit!

I think Jabra's Elite 7 Pro are probably the best small earbuds right now. If you want super, super small...I just tested Soundpeats Mini recently and they're surprisingly good! Lacking features because they're a budget pair, but sound great and are absolutely tiny! More on that in the earbuds under $100 video...

Just got the liberty 3 pros on Amazon (used- like new) for $75 ($99 sale price) and I'm listening to this review with them right now. It's only been a day but I'm incredibly impressed. I was using a cheap $30 pair from Amazon for like a year, and there are so many quality of life improvements I've already noticed compared to before Going from noise cancelling to transparency with the tap of a button is amazing. The app is amazing. It sounds amazing I was considering the galaxy bud plus or 2, for around $80, but I doubt they could even compare with the liberty pro 3's I'm not even an audiophile at all, it's just that the ease of use has been amazing For $75, I don't think I couldn't have asked for anything better

My Sony XM4 survived an entire 30 minute trip in the washing machine with no damage to the battery or audio quality. Insane. The Sony Headphones app is a country mile ahead of any other. The sound quality has a deep warmth that was missing in the Sennheiser which I returned though I am fan of the brand.. I found the case and housing a bit cheap and plasticky. I put a lot of stock in Sony's build quality reputation. They seem like a company that could easily sell cheaper quality phones, televisions, cameras and headphones but remain committed on quality.

Great video!! I’ve actually never owned earbuds, but looking at finally getting some. Jabra have caught my attention, I don’t want ones that stick out of the ears much and tbh, haven’t really thought about if I have large or small ears, I’d guess average size 😅 Have been looking at the Elite Active 4’s, but then reading good things on the 75T/85T. What are your thoughts on the 4’s? My main thing would be audio quality, won’t ever use for phone calls, ANC would only be if I go on a plane. Thanks
@insidetechltd
@insidetechltd 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! If these are your very first pair, then i'd say something like the Active 4 would be a great place to start! Really well balanced feature set and not too expensive. I think the 85t, as a flagship model, are better for someone who specifically wants to improve/optimise their earbud experience (which you won't know yet). Only by trying some out will you learn what you like and what you'd be looking for next time to upgrade! So that would be my recommendation for a place to start!

Excellent video, quite possibly the best round up of them all, well done! I've now had the first gen Sennies, the Mw07s and have recently switched over to the XM4s. TWs have incredible sound, but the bluetooth glitches and passive battery drain make them impractical, the mw07s have mind blowing audio quality and fit, the XM4s have great features and the sound quality has excellent detail but they are not very comfortable and the sound profile generally is quite artificial. Would love go try the CX Plus and the Jay Birds! If they were supported in South Africa I probably would have gone with the MW8 Sport, having efficient warranty support with bluetooth sound equipment is crucial I think. Sony and Sennheiser have that quite dialled around here, the Sennheiser customer experience in particular is really great.

Ever tried the Philips TAT8506 or the Oppo Enco X2? I'm one of the people that needs the best of everything. I'm a hobbyist audio engineer/musician who works a day job in a loud office and manufacturing warehouse where I am constantly on the phone with customers, suppliers, dealers and workmates and back and forth from my cell phone to my computer to my desk phone. Sometimes I'm working on larger projects that require me to block out the non-work-related conversations around me (which are numerous) and listen to music, or just reduce the noise without listening to music, yet I need to be able to listen to people when I'm summoned. What would you recommend for my dynamic use case? I can't seem to prioritize between sound quality, ANC, transparency, tight, comfortable fit and multipoint. It seems nothing does it all exceptionally well. Wireless charging is not a big deal to me. Music stopping when I take them out, I don't know if that's important or not. Single bud use seems like it might be a good thing. Oh, and I sweat a lot in this humid Georgia heat.

Thanks! Nothing special at all, and I don’t especially like the fit/comfort either. There are better earbuds out there to go for instead than raycons

Can you make one of these for over the ear headphones with same/similar categories? I appreciate the hard work you put into this, not many people go in depth like you

It's on my to-do list! I also want to make a video like this, but unfortunately i'm quite busy for the next month or so. But afterwards I will try to!

What do you think about the B&O EQ many are saying sounds the best? Senny still up there, that's amazing and I totally agree but the soundcore liberty 3 pros, when eq'd right, sound very good. The very best is due to the way I equalized them are 1a Soundcore Liberty 3 pro and then 1b Senny Momentum 2. The momentum 2 have better transparency for sure. The beats fit pro have very good transparency. Very good video...

I can understand why, but I think there is better accuracy in the top 3 here. Same sort of thing with Soundcore - they sound awesome (with some EQing) but not objectively as good as the others. That's why audio quality can be so subjective too!

@@insidetechltd why do you think audiophiles hate on the sennys? I've seen at least a few videos where self proclaimed audiophiles have bad things to say about the Sennys as it pertains to overall sound quality.

I think that just boils down to personal preference factoring in. What each person thinks sounds good to them. I haven’t really seen a lot of hate myself, but I don’t think it’s warranted if there is!

@@insidetechltd I appreciate your replies. I'm curious, would you display your eq settings for your sennys and or liberty 3 pro?
