The Apple iPhone, iPad, & AirPods have all redefined their product categories. Apple wasn't first to market in any of these scenarios, but they delivered products that were unmatched at the time. So, do you agree that Apple did it best?

Jon Rettinger the iPhone has always been a device that ha created some sort of experience that was kinda not new but perfected and that’s what i like the most about the iPhone, iPad, imac or whatever 😂 they deliver what people actually are willing to use without compromise.... so i was an heavy android user back then but when i first came across my very first iphone (iphone 6) when it has had it first major design change i was stuned by it’s look and performance.... it was when i decided it was my way to go 🤷🏻‍♂️🔥 since then i never had an non ios device 🌝

The iPhone. I was in 10th grade when it came out, and I busted my ass and made enough money to buy the 8gb model so I could have some of my music with me when I didn't want to carry my iPod. My parents saw my hard work, and knew my love for tech and they bought it for me as an early Christmas present (I had no clue lol) and it was an experience I'll never forget. Like your wedding story, that's exactly how it was at school. EVERYONE wanted to see it and try it out. It's a memory I'll cherish forever! I obviously still have it. It's resting in its original box. The box alone stands out like nothing else!

The first time I seen an iPhone, was the original gen that my boss bought. A crowd gathered around as he showed us a photo where he pinched to zoom and all of us gasped and stepped back and saying whoah...we couldn’t believe our eyes that this kind of tech existed. It actually felt like magic to us. Multitouch!!

I still remember the first time I held an iPhone. Nothing like it had ever come before, rotating the screen and watching all the albums move to cover flow and flicking them across, taping one and having it turn over in front of you to reveal the music inside, or seeing a video auto rotating when you turned the phone, pinching to zoom photos, the spring loaded scrolling effect, even simple things like playing or pausing something, or sliding the volume up or down all on screen was mesmerising, typing on a screen and just having every key effortlessly do exactly what they are supposed to, all with no keyboard, no stylus, no pressing, just touching, it was like magic. Over a decade later and every other phone is still some interpretation of this idea, the competition still riding the waves in wake of Apple's trailblazing success. The iPhone is still the benchmark device against which the capability of all other devices are measured. It is I think the most incredible piece of consumer technology ever made.

iPhone. I’ve tried android phones, older and newer. Having android kinda makes me feel empty and sort of disconnected. It makes the smartphone that I have...just a smartphone. Apple just works. For me at least. And they are far from perfect, often I want things the competition has. But then again, the competition needs optimization and smoothness around the edges. Apple’s software gives me that. Hardware without software is pointless.

I'm just confused about how many people at first thought that Apple said they were the first to do something, like the phone for example. They never said they were the first. For so many years I've been an Android guy and sort of hated Apple for their decisions. I always liked the possibilities of Android phones, that were simply not there in the iPhones. And I was always asking myself why the heck are so many people buying these expensive phones, where one can get a way better Android smartphone. But as I see my friends using iPhone + MacBook, or iPhone + AirPods - this is pretty impressive. And I begin to think why should I configure everything by myself, run so many setups and tweak the settings when I can just get Apple products and all the setup will be done automatically. I think I am getting older and lazier... And yeah, I am starting to like Apple

Chromebooks are pretty useless tbh... And well, I personally really like the idea of getting software support for a long period... let's be honest, if you really want the best overall Android phone with least compromise, it'll be a Galaxy S series phone..but they cost as much as iPhones, so I'd rather go for an iPhone.

@@oysteinsoreide4323 True.. Although Apple is a company, and as all the other companies the ultimate goal is to make more money.. It was a marketing strategy, far fewer people would have tried the AirPods if they hadn't had the necessity to find "another way" to listen to music. And it worked, the AirPods are one of the best selling Apple products, and people are very happy with them, they probably would never go back to wired headphones, just because they work, really well.

I watched this entire video and... I'm not sure why it exists. Like the 2019 iPod, I just dont know who this video is here for. Is it a deliberately shaky "see its handheld and personal" vlog? Is it a studio shot timeline of apple's history? Is it a collection of b roll showcasing old and current tech? Is it an analytical view of a business in a particular industry? An evaluation of a personal belief? It's all of the above at some points, but they dont make sense together here. It really doesnt feel like there's a purpose to this video. I typically enjoy your videos even if I get fatigued by the similarity between them. This time it was just a mish mash of every previous installment up to this point. I genuinely had deja vu as I thought there was reused footage. I'll come back when you have new information to put forth. For those of you that think "you should watch for the person not the content" there isnt enough personality here for me to justify watching regardless of content.

I had freezing issues and bugs with my iPhone's. Wasn't really all that happy with iPhone's. Always had Samsung and never really had issues. Sure there is some, because guess what? It's technology made my imperfect people. But my satisfaction is higher with Galaxy's than iPhone's. And I don't really customize my phone like everybody else even though I do somewhat. I just have better experiences. I don't need icon packs and launchers, just a nice looking phone with software to match and a nice experience with the basics. I haven't switched the launcher in 5 years.

@@KenoshaCaptures That's funny because for me, I started with an android device (the samsung s5) and I would always freeze/lag/stutter in almost every app. The problem that I have with the android side is a huge issue with optimization and how devided the whole android OS side is. You have so many different versions of android and global optimization across all apps is nearly impossible for devs of app to accomplish. It's why you see huge companies like Twitter or Snapchat being attacked for keeping android updates so far behind IoS and it has to do with issues of how fractured android is. The moment I switched to an apple product, it was the most fluid OS system I had ever experienced. But to each their own.
@KenoshaCaptures
@KenoshaCaptures 5 жыл бұрын
@@RuskiVodkaaaa I know Snapchat used to be trash on Android and behind on Android, but I never heard the same for Twitter. I just have 1 simple solution for a lot of issues with Android: get a Galaxy. I pretty much never have issues. My dad had a S5 for probably 5 years until he got his S7. But his S5 stopped working because he was constantly on it and kept it inside a non-insulated and thick Otterbox case so it had a boot loop issue. But besides that he never had problems with a phone that has Android that isn't a Galaxy. But he did have problems with his HTC and my mom had problems with her Motorola, and so did I. They made the worst phones ever with overheating and lag. So we all went Galaxy and never looked back. I'll just be so much more happier though when Samsung finally switches to Tizen. Like they did for literally every other device except phones, tabs and Notebooks.
