I always have lots of Apples this time of year down in Washington state we have so many apples and after awhile you get tired of them but this well its almost like the apple pie filling. Amazing stuff

If you do this all the time, get a food mill and save yourself so much time and effort. It looks delicious. You do make great looking food. Thanks for sharing.

I never realized apple butter was so easy to make. It is quite time consuming but not a difficult recipe. I like how Bonita showed the differences with the stages of cooking, that was good to see. I only had apple butter on toast, never thought of pork chops and the crackers, good idea.

Great video! I just made a batch of apple butter for the first time in many years and it is sooo good. I did use the large crockpot and it made it less stressful than on the stove top when I was constantly babysitting it worrying it would scorch. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration.

As usual this looks great. I have not made apple sauce and apple butter for years. I also enjoy pumpkin butter in the fall. Pork chops with apple butter sounds great. I usually have cooked apple slices with porkchops. I will definately make the apple butter!

I use a food mill to remove seeds, skin etc. Either my hand cranked one or my Victorio food mill for large batches. You could also use a chinois to remove the juice and pulp.

Love Apple butter . Make a batch every year. On fresh biscuits yummy. You made it just LIKE I do. I have an old fashion foodmill that looks like a funnel and has a wood tool too press it thru.

Why not just cut off skin cut out seeds then boil looks like a whole lot of work when you can cut it all out….then boil this recipe is amazing loved it!

They have now change the requirements of sterilization of jars. If you are WB or PC for 10” or more the process will sterilize them. Great time saver!
