Would you happen to know what is required to keep the usb ports working if I install an aftermarket head unit? I have a 2019 1500 LD so its the same as the 14 -18 LT trucks. I have 8 inch screen with apple car play and the dual usb ports inside the center console/jump seat.

Thanks for the feedback. You have to swap out the USB ports in the center console and then plug it in for it to work. It works really well and I just bought a really short lightning cable for the center console so I don't have that long cord to mess with.

That’s a good question, I am not sure if they would still require the modules to be swapped if you already have OEM nav. I would contact www.infotainment.com/ with that question because it would be an expensive mistake for me to guess.

Bummer! I just did the same upgrade as yourself in my '14 Silverado and noticed the voice button didn't launch Siri. I was wondering if I may have done something incorrectly. In my 2016 Impala, it does. You have to hold the button for ~5 seconds and it will launch Siri instead of the default voice recognition with MyLink.

Top Tech Chex & VlUuogs Das ist ein sehr unbefriedigende Sache wenn die Mitarbeiter so von ihrer richtigen Meinung urberzeugt sind recht zu haben dabei könnte sich das jeder Depp vorstellen und mit einer Aufbewahrungshuelle das selbe Problem anstatt richtig zu lesen mussten die sofort erkennen das es Suchbegriffassug um ein aufklappbare Schutz Huelle handelt und nicht um diese Huelle die ich zum 3 mal falsch geliefert wurde, wenn sie das nicht klaeren wollen gebe meine Kundenkarte zurück weil es dann vorbei ist und sie haben einen verärgerten Kundenp weniger und darüber schreibe eine Negative Rezession das im Stammhaus in Hieschau die meisten Mitarbeiter denken die sind die schlausten dabei ist es gerade andersrum in Stuttgart sind nur Profiverkaufer am Werk aber die strengen Sich sehr an aber wenn die Mitarbeiter im Stammhaus in die Gegenrichtung arbeiten kann die Anstrengung noch so groß sein , solange die im Stammhaus ihre Fehler nicht einsehen verkraulen sie viele Langjährigen Kunden nur weil sie denken wenn jemand etwas richtig macht sind wir das im Stammhaus und bilden sich ein unverzichtbar zu sein . Aber sind denen grosskotzigen so von sich ueberzeugt sind das beste an Kundenservice das meiste drauf haben ‚ Das sind die großkotzig sind und wenn CONRAD je Kunden verliert dann sind sie die alles besser wissen deppen durch ihre dumme billige Haltung dem Konzern am meisten Schaden an dem Kunden angerichtet haben und für bestmöglichen Servicej bieten muessen ein Antiwunschdenken Kurs für alle die es immer erst kapieren wenn schon größer Finzzuellen schaden verursacht haben und ihre großkotzigen Mitarbeiter gekündigt werden muss weil wer so ueberzeugt ist und nicht bereit ist sich gegen Wunschdenken behandelt lassen muessen wegen uneinsichtigkeit und grob fahrlässig handeln und dann muss ein Kunde wie ich 2 Displays bezahlen muss obwohl dieses bestellte Ersatzteil nie erhalten haben und Stattdessen 2 Displayschutzglaeser bezahlen musste aber ein ganz anderes Produkt geliefert haben was um einnigges teurer ist als die Skrennschurzglaesee! Also wurde doppelt betrogen weil so ein Kundenservice wo jede Weiterbildung verweigert das diese Langjaehrugen Mitarbeiter den Konzern verlassen müssen weil es die sind wo die eigendlich gute Firma CONRAD so stark schädigen auf Dauer und die Firma in den Ruin treiben weil dann kaufe im Mediamarkt ein da gibt es zwar kein Kundenservice dafür kann nicht viel falsch laufen weil das was der Kundenservice meint sich ueber das Produkt Alles zu wissen was nur Winschdken ist , oder um sich einzureden das beste zu geben keiner weiß warum er das macht was er macht aber Hauptsache er macht mit auch wenn am Ende 200 Packete falsch verpackt sind und alles nochmal gemacht werden muss , egal Hauptsache e für alle gab es Arbeit auch wenn alles was gearbeitet nur denRestmuell kontaminier gefüllt hat und die hälfte aller Pakete sind für nix mehr zu gebrauchen weil zu viel ueber schwänze gedacht wurde anstatt an Arbeit

This is very nice but also too expensive for me. I've got a 2015 Silverado LTZ that has everything here except Carplay so I'd be spending $1400 to just get the addition of Carplay/Android Auto. If I didn't already have factory Nav I'd jump on this though.

I have a 2016 GMC sierra base model and I do not have an HMI box behind my glove box. I've taken the glove box out three times and looked all three times and it's still not there. I do have the 2 boxes behind the stereo though...

Und behaupten es waren 2 DISPLAYGLAS SONDERN VIEL ZU DUENNE DISPLAYSCHUTZJLAESER WEIL WENN ES ORGINAL ERSATZ DISPLAYS WAEREN MUESSTE DER RAND ENTWEDER WEIS ODER SCHWARZ LACKIERT SEIN UND DAS SIND DIE SCHUTZGLAESER NICHT , aber die zuständige Mitarbeiter bestehen darauf mir die richtige Ersatzteile geschickt zu haben aber in der Filiale Stuttgart wuerde sowas niemals vorkommen ! Aber die im Stammhaus sind sicher mir das richtige Ersatzteil Geschickt zu haben dabei hat noch keiner von den Mitarbeitern je nur ein Mitarbeiter jemals ein IPhone Displayglas ueberhaupt eine Ahnung haben wie das Teil aussehen muss mit teillackiertem Teil für den Rahmen entweder in Weiß oder schwarz aber auf der Verpackung steht drauf Displayscreenprotektor also ein zusätzliches Schutzglas was aber kein Displayglas sein kann da es 1/3 so dick ist wie Orginal Display aber sofort ohne es nochmal genau nachzusehen sofort eine Mahnung rauslassen dabei habe nie das Ersatzteil bekommen was von Anfang an bestellt habe und das ziehen die mit einem Treuen Kunden ab obwohl schon Knapp 30 Jahre Kunde bin und in Stuttgart in der Filialle gibt es für jeden Bereich ein spezieller Mitarbeiter da ist der weiß auswendig was ein Display Schutzglas von einem Displayglas UNTERSCHEIDET UND DAS KAPPIERT IM STAMMHAUS KEINER ABER SIND ZU 100% ig glauben ich wuerde ein Unsinn ist Reden ja dann fragte ob er schon einmalig ein IPhone 5s gesehen hat wo der Rand des Dissplays transparent ist obwohl jedes neue Modell keine komplett Transparentes Display gibt aber trotzdem ich derjenige bin der scheisse labert aber wenn jetzt nochmal angewiesen werde dann werde ich bei einer Flachglasherstellungfirma ein Display Screen Schutzglas mit dem Displayglas Screenschutz als Muster weil es bis auf die Dickere Displayglas von der Form passt oder lasse mir von Apple einen Kostenvoranschlag ueber eine Einzelanfertigung kostet und Conrad darf die Rechnung bezahlen habe 2 Displayglasschutz bekommen habe aber der Preis für 2 Orginal Displays bezahlen musste und darüber bin derart sauer und enttäuscht das Sie kein Interesse daran besteht den Kunden der schon Tausende Mark und Euro dort lügen lassen habe ! Da sind alle Mitarbeiter der Filiale Stuttgart alles Oberstufen Verkäufer die genau wissen was der Unterschied zwischen einen transparenten screenschutzglas und dem fast 3 mal so dicken ORGINALDISPLAYGLAS WO ZUR ABDECKUNG UND SCHUTZ GEGEN EINFALLENDE SONNENSTRAHLEN DURCH AUFHEIZEN HINTER DEM DISPLAY KEINE BESCHAEDIGUNGEN AUFTRETEN EXTRA IN WEIS DER Rand und die obere Seite wo der Hoerlauteprecher und unten der auch weiße Hauptschalter mit dem Fingerabdruck Sensor Die Runde Einsparung für den Fingerabdruck Sensor mit darin verbaut ist ! Wow, for my 2013 Equinox $1499.00 and I would not get Apple CarPlay. Only OEM navigation, they also said I would need to contact Chevy to update the maps which from what I have read cannot be done for a 2013. That’s ridiculous.

Yes the USB ports need to be swapped in order for Apple CarPlay to work properly (I believe). Your best bet would be to direct your technical questions to Infotainment.com

+Jack Downey well first of all nobody is making you buy anything. Second of all they send you entirely new modules to upgrade your existing. If you can do it cheaper I highly suggest you go that route.

$1400 is bogus ass price to pay for having my stock Nav replaced with an upgrade that won’t fully work with the steering wheel controls. Paying more than $1000 is still a stupid price for this.
