I don’t know if anyone will see this but I want to ask if the vinegar soak will strengthen the nails? Mine are soft, almost as though I have soaked them while doing dishes. They have always been soft, except when I was pregnant. Not that I want more kids at 69 but even the Hair, Skin & Nails pills don’t seem to help.

I use it full strength..is that ok?

Do you find that this helps with adhesion when you dip? Someone recommended that I do an ACV soak prior to dipping to help with lifting a few days after my mani is done
@ManisbyMegan4 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, yes. Because it removes all of the oils. You can also swipe your nails with alcohol to dry them out a bit before dipping.

You can find pumice stone cuticle pushers, they exfoliate the cuticle area

I didn’t see you add water to the apple cider vinegar for your nails.
@debbiebethell2679 Жыл бұрын
The water was already in the bowl. I'm trying this as l have stopped having acrylic nails and now I'm going all natural. I take vitamin B6, B12, vitamins C and D and biotin. These are normally in one a day tablet which I purchased from my local supermarket.

Apple cider strengthens your nails it keeps am flexible so they don’t break. It’s not gonna make your nails grow longer. If you want something to make your nails grow longer take some water, put some salt in it and some olive oil or avocado oil.

@@sheluvssmokedupeyes1I put olive oil after and it worked well

I soak mine in pure apple cider vinegar… no water mixed in. I soak for 30 minutes twice a week while watching TV…. and I add some glycerine to the ACV.
