Thanks you for posting this video.🙂 I would definitely try this pedicure foot spa at home. I usually sit on the bathroom counter and soak my feet in the sink.😆 At least I can keep the water nice and warm at all times.🙂 I have been searching for these foot masks lately without luck. Walmart used to carry a lot of them but I couldn't find even one last night. I don't live near the city so I purchase some products online. Oh! I can't find the link for this foot spa. I'll watch the video again and carefully listen if You mention the brand name.🙂

Warning: If you're a type 2 diabetic DO NOT use a metal foot scraper like was shown here. It can easily cut you and cause an infection that may lead to a serious foot emergency. Just use lots of lotion, vaseline, or other moisturizer on your feet daily and VERY LIGHTLY use a pumice stone on dry areas. Diabetics ALWAYS have to watch their feet for signs of infection and the LAST thing you want to do is use something like a metal grater that can easily cut the skin. Take care!

I'm a man who takes care of his feet. For years I have simply applied lotion on my feet and put on socks before bed. My skin has stayed smooth for the 20! years I've been doing this. I don't do this every night, just about 3 days a week. Also I've found that wearing slides too much dries out your feet and leads to rough skin, so throwing on some running shoes and getting active helps a lot.

Hey. From experience, I've learned that the grater keeps making excess skin. The more you use it, the more you're gonna need it. I stopped using it and started using a mild pumice stone. I also apply a homemade shea butter mix to feet and wear socks for awhile OR sleep in them to allow butter to melt into skin. Feet are smooth again. Evn if you don't use butter, plzzz stop using the grater.🥰

That grater at the nail salon makes your feet hard. It will take the dead skin off while you’re getting your feet done, but your feet will start to feel hard after a few days & look horrible with dead skin & hardness as long as you let the pedicurist keep removing dead skin with that grater.

To help lessen dry cracked feet be sure you are getting enough B3 and omega 3 oils in your diet. Cut out corn & vegetable oils, instead use olive, organic coconut,r avocado oils when frying your foods. Plus cut down or cut out sugar. Anything with high fructose corn syrup is awful and contributes to foot problems, from pain in foot heels to include the whole bottom of feet when walking.

I have been doing foot reflexology since I was 22/23 and it is an added benefit health and relaxation wise. As the foot corresponds to various parts of the body, it helps especially during the last days of my cycle. I treat myself once a month sometimes twice a month when really stressed. I try to fast a few days prior and the day of, drink only water and green tea to help my body remove the toxins that have been massaged out and will later be excreted.

This is actually my first time watching one of your videos so I am not sure if you know this "hack" or have tried it but after your shower/bath rub some Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet (and I usually put socks on afterwards) that helps keep them soft and kills off bacteria, helps with athlete's foot, it also calms neuropathic pain and distress in feet and legs. Those graders and rocks are what caused my skin on the bottom of my feet to be rough. That grader is what actually damaged my skin. I must’ve over used it incorrectly. Now, I only moistorize with heavy oils, lotions, and creams (e.g. shea butter, Lubriderm, Eucerin, Vaseline to seal the moisture and wear socks 🧦 each night. My skin is slowly becoming smoother again naturally. There are some scar tissue that remains. However, I recommend to not use those razors, graders, etc. especially if you don’t know what you are doing. 👍💯

I’m glad you found something that works for you. But Let me put you on. My goal is not to just get rid of dead skin, but also prolong the next time you need to scrub or receive dead skin on the bottom of your feet. 1) However you soak your feet (bath, shower, nail salon), pay attention to the temperature of the water. As we age, hot water is starting to break down the softness of our skin, especially our feet. ( my local nail salon, purposely soaks peoples feet in hot water). 2. Be careful with that pumice stone, yes you are scraping dead skin but some of the integrity of the healthy skin is being compromised. 3. I found this turmeric Pumice Sponge/ NOT STONE that gently scratches the surface of the skin leaving the healthy skin untouched. I recommend not removing all the dead skin at once, but using the pumice sponge every 3 to 4 days, removing more and more of the dead skin, but allowing the days in between for the healthy skin to grow back. 4. After every shower, I just put Vaseline and then a pair of socks on. (I see in the comments that Vaseline is not a moisturizer but a sealant, but it really works). I’ve used the turmeric sponge every 3/4 days , then once a week, then once every two weeks then once a month. I’m lazy so my goal was to prolong the need of reoccurring dead skin and for me to continuously scrub the bottom of my feet. It’s been two months since I’ve touched my turmeric pumice sponge. ( I love hot showers, I’m trying to cool it down more lol). Next time I will try to peroxide, but if you implement the sponge, you won’t need that scrape tool before the stone.

I wonder if any of you’ve tried exfoliating rags/washcloths. Also be careful of the foot grater as it puts tiny cuts into the foot.
@kendranewton8082

The foot grater is NOT your friend. We learned that it makes your skin grow back harder each time because it puts your skin in defensive mode when the grater scrubs away both dead & living skin. That’s why it keeps coming back.

I was thought the same thing. It makes the feet harder. Soaking for more than half hour and buffing away will do it. Adding baking soda will make it even softer.

I use just enough Vaseline petroleum jelly on the bottom of my feet year round, and I put socks on. My feet stay soft and smooth on the bottom year round. My mother and grandmother did that. It works. Cocoa butter petroleum jelly is good as well. I wear pantyhose a lot and being consistent with putting that petroleum jelly on the bottom of my feet year round prevents my feet from getting rough and making holes in my pantyhose.

One word: Vaseline! Years ago I saw my son's Gm soaking and cutting it off her feet and I thought I never want that to be me!! And a friend told me to use Vaseline and I have ever since and using the grater and pumice would tear my skin bc I don't have that, my feet look and feel like they did as a child and my son is 31 now!

A solution from a West African sister, please just oil your feet every day after showering. Your whole body except your privat parts and armpits need to be moisturize after showering, because it dries out. Just like your inside need water or any kind of beverages so your inside don´t dry out and you don´t die, it is the same with the outside. Your feet cracked, because you don´t moisturize it every day after showering. But if you have some kind of an illness, which is coursing the cracked than forget what I wrote.

That's cool & makes sense about hydrogen peroxide. So something else pretty good to use is listerine to soak feet in. Kills bacteria & something I recommend to people that tell me about foot odor. I will start telling people to give hydrogen peroxide a try too. I am gonna give this a shot & I miss having a foot soaking massage thing like that. Life is short & I need to get one. Why didn’t u use the vinegar, blue listerine mouthwash, soap mixture? U wouldn’t have to use anything to wipe off the dead skin but a washcloth. I do this for my husbands feet and it is unbelievable. Edit: afterwards I put Vaseline on his feet, wrap it in grocery store plastic bags, put some socks on over night. His feet feels like a baby’s bottom. 😊

@@franwalsh83 I soak his feet for an hour. And I keep adding the mixture until it covers his foot. I put it in our foot spa machine we got from Walmart. It bubbles because of the dawn so I don’t add too much. He usually falls asleep. Because it vibrates. He doesn’t have corns but very thick skin. And it wipes off. I still use the purple pumice callus remover out of habit. I rinse them and do the Vaseline wrap with socks over night. Baby bottom soft 🥰

More often than not excessive callouss and harden skin on bottom of feet is result of our structural body. Our bodies are brilliant and where we put too much pressure because of structural imbalances, callouses, bunions, hammer toes, etc etc will naturally form… start rolling your feet on a wooden dowel, or golf ball, while standing… try not to look at foot while doing this so the proper muscles activate … calluses will naturally go away.. and keeping up with what you’re doing will speed up process 😉✌️
