Apple Cordial/Apple Brandy Wine - What NOW?

It's been four months since we first started fermenting our Apple Brandy made from the fall's apple harvest, and today we're going to open the crocks and see how the fermentation process is going! We'll be straining out the liquid from the apples and filling up some bottles with the nutrient rich cider. We want this to be like an apple kombucha drink, not so much an alcoholic beverage, but we'll see if it was successful!

Was just talking about this the other day. Looks great! I would suggest thought to not put the cap on too tight until you ensure it will not further ferment - don't want any blowed up jars. Good video!

I had made some of the Apple Brandy, the fruit meat left over i used to make some bread with. I used a zucchini bread recipe and substituted the apple and raisan meat for the zucchini. The bread was delicious

Good morning! Lol!! Once I made ours I asked my husband to put it in a dark place??? Well he doesn't remember wear he put it. We will go on the hunt for it. Out of sight out of mind. Thank you so now we can check our apple brandy..

Wondering if you could use the bag, but press it in a cheese/cleaned press? I have used the old fashioned cylinder strainer, to hold the bag you have shown, but put heavy objects on it ( like a washed metal can of tomatoes for example) I have used this method for other things ( like cream cheese.) Just ideas

I tried a wild ferment with, mulberries.. basically, it's layers of mulberries, and sugar.. I use the same type of jars, and it turned out, pretty good..
