I made this and it's a hit! My daughters picked apples with a friend so I needed to use them up and this was so good and perfect for fall. I made a "caramel" glaze from a Betty Crocker recipe instead of the white icing!

Mini loaves are great. They cut down the baking time in the oven, AND the dessert does not dry out because it bakes in shorter period of time, AND you can give them as gifts, And for a lunch snack, each person can get one or two without having to cut a piece off a large loaf, AND when you tell people you baked a dozen loaves of bread, they think you're genius.

Yes...you can use a 9x5 pan. You need to increase the baking time and lower the temp to 325 degrees.

In a Tupperware on the counter is fine. Bread in the refrigerator gets a little mushy...especially if you add the glaze.
