Why doesn't he go to her appointments with her? How are modern men more clueless about pregnancy than ancient men? There were no doctors in ancient times. He still hasn't learned anything. Here comes the apologizing and begging because he doesn't want to face the consequences of his words and actions.

Because men used to have to protect and provide. This they really cared about family Family used protect and rely on each other. They ate together, had the same friends went to church together. Family time was sacred. These days everyone is on their phones or electronics have different friend groups. Adultery is rampant. Family doesn't mean the same if you get angry go NC or get a divorce or just get a side piece . The absolute care and faith people had in each other has disappeared. It has gotten worse in the hookup culture.

@@lharchmage6908 dudes have been ignoring kids and wives for centuries. They weren’t even allowed in the birthing room most of the time. Also adulterous has been rampant since ALWAYS. it’s just that now a woman can divorce the husband if they cheat. They didn’t always have that choice. This comment is not very accurate.

At my old job, we had a LOT of women get pregnant through the years. I remember one six month period, where about five women were ON BEDREST for months at a time, because of difficult and/or high risk pregnancies. FIVE. One woman was actually ALLERGIC to her pregnancy. It was a big deal, because we wound up being short-staffed, but everyone understood. Some women have it easy (some of my co-workers were like Big Tough Pioneer Women Natural Childbirth in 90 minutes!) and some women don't ("I'm not allowed to speak up at baby showers, for fear I will terrify the new mother, due to my story of being in hard labor for three days," or "I spent six out of nine months in bed," or "I lost forty-five pounds on my pregnancy, from morning sickness, and had to be hospitalized, and put on feeding tubes and IVs, just to keep me alive long enough to give birth."). It's ALL individual. This guy is not only an idiot, but he's also cruel and abusive. He cares more about eating FRESH than he does about his own wife's health, and his own CHILD'S safety! He deserves neither a wife, nor a child.

This guy seems to believe like the one example you gave. That all women should be able to move mountains and work out and be in and out of labor within an hour. Then hop up and instantly know how to care for the child. Then be back to work tomorrow. Baby is crying but been fed and diapers clean. Well what do you mean you don't know why it's crying? You're a woman, a mother you should have natural instincts as to why it's crying. Idiots like this don't and will never understand that unfortunately even with advancements in technology and stuff. Woman do sadly still die in childbirth. Not as much anymore but it does happen. This guy doesn't realize he could have lost both his wife and child due to his ignorance. He also wouldn't understand that like pregnancy not all babies are the same either. One could sleep through the night from day one. Other not so much. He'd also wouldn't have helped. He'd be like that guy in this other story. Wife barley gets an hour sleep due to twins and him forcing her to still do all the housework.

My mom had to be in bed for 2 out of 3 of her pregnancies (she was very likely to loose them) doing sports was out of the question, there is a saying in the Jewish community that goes like that “if a pregnant woman wants pork at day of kippur you get her a pork at the day of kippur” (day of kippur is a very important fast) meaning you do whatever a pregnant person wants and it goes above almost all other laws , it’s more important

What woman will want to marry this stupid @$$H0LE once he gets the bad reputation and demotions and has no money due to the alimony and child support he is being forced to pay? This guy could have had a GREAT life. He could have been MARRIED, and a FATHER, and had a WHITE COLLAR CAREER and the ONLY thing he needed to do to have ALL of that was NOT be a total effing @$$H0LE. I swear I had morning sickness from the moment of conception it was so bad 🤢 I couldn't even keep water & crackers down. I worked in a restaurant. That was so much fun 😔 The baby was also slowly killing me My blood pressure slowly climbed until it reached 203/110. I was on the verge of a stroke. I has gone to the hospital because I had a killer headache & backache. I could not get comfortable. I was admitted on a Friday night. Her lungs were underdeveloped. She was intubated and rushed to the NICU as soon as she was delivered. I didn't see her for almost a week. I had had to bed on bed rest because my blood pressure was still high, so I couldn't even go to the NICU. She was born on Sunday morning at 10:45 am. She was born 10 weeks early & weighed a whopping 1lb 11oz & 12.5 inches. Her lungs were underdeveloped, so she was on a respirator. She was born Dec 29th & she didn't come home until March 24th. So yeah. Not all pregnancies are sunshine & roses. Not all women have the same experience. Ironically, despite how hard the pregnancy & delivery was, most of us go on to have another baby. That is why God made babies so cute and cuddly 👶- so women would forget all the hard & painful times and keep having them😂😂 I guess women are suckered for punishment..lol

I babysat for a family. The first two were hard pregnancy, and labor lasted for a LOOOOOONG time. The third child? They couldn't even make it the whole 15 minute drive to the hospital. Thank God the baby wasn't breach, and there were no complications. They got almost to the hospital, but not quite close enough for the doctors to take over, so the husband had to pull over and deliver the child on the side of the road, with NO TOOLS. NOTHING. It was an "easy" birth, in that there were no complications, and it didn't take very long. But she had NO pain relief, no clean towels or anything like that. Not even clean hands, so it was VERY dangerous, facing a HIGH risk of post-partum infection Do you know how many women die from post-partum infection? Because there's no sink, let alone soap, for the person helping with the delivery to wash their hands?! Yeah, NEVER take pregnancy, labor, or delivery for granted.

Glad "too late" was just the husband isn't returning to his old life after what he did. I'm surprised his parents weren't involved. Something tells me he should be glad his parents don't seem to be in the picture as he's already getting shunned at work. Women STILL DIE IN CHILDBIRTH. Pregnancy has a low death rate, but it's STILL A THING. Heck, it's enough of a thing that in the Sims 2, unmodded, a sim could DIE FROM PREGNANCY. Birth is easy. Just twirl and lift the baby into the air. But pregnancy? Man, it's TOUGH, the whole three days. I remember, my first week of playing, reloading without saving and reloading without saving and reloading without saving, JUST TRYING TO SAVE THE SIM FROM DYING. Could NOT be done. She just dropped dead, because it took her too long to put the groceries away. I checked her needs. It wasn't starvation. It wasn't anything in particular. She just died of pregnancy. And that's a friggin' GAME!!! Even GAME DESIGNERS recognize the dangers of pregnancy and PUT IT IN THE GAME. In a FUN THING. Because that's how real it is. No, pregnancy is not a disease or sickness or disability. It is a CONDITION. And that condition CAN be absolutely BRUTAL for SOME women. But you know what's more brutal? Marriage to an abuser, that's what.

My first pregnancy I was on bedrest for the last four months of my pregnancy in order to delay the birth of my son. He wanted to come early, and actually was born a month early, at just under 4 pounds. Second pregnancy was pretty easy. No problems aside from him being a bit more that 10 pounds. Third pregnancy is has morning sickness up to the day of her delivery. They are all happy, and healthy, adults now.

I had really bad evening sickness with my 1st pregnancy, but I suffered from extreme SPD, symphysis pubis dysfunction, or PGP pelvic girdle pain, from maybe 2 months pregnant? I had no bump until I was about 7 months along, but that meant baby sat very low and very far back, back to back, so my back was agony too. I had emergency hydrotherapy physio from 3-6 months, couldn't do it after that as it could induce early labour, so I had normal physio, a god awful girdle (and it was a summer pregnancy, so that was fun🥵) I was on painkillers, bed rest, crutches and, at the end, in a wheelchair. For my second I had a bit of back ache and pelcic pain that a girdle and painkillers solved. Although I was monitored. So a husband forcing his pregnant wife to get up and exercise is terrifying in my book! That would have put me in hospital too. That threat was there for my 1st pregnancy anyway. But having your other half do this to you, and put you in hospital? Well, IMO, that's unforgiveable, and I can not blame her for asking for a divorce. He isn't remorseful, he's just butt hurt he got chewed out and demoted at work. Honestly, with his bias attitude towards his pregnant colleagues, he's lucky he kept a job at all! His behaviour could have caused the company lots of class action lawsuits! What an idiot! Every pregnancy is as different as every baby that is born. FFS, how is that so hard to comprehend??? This guy is mean and cruel to his wife. He said he had to listen to a third party because he did not believe his wife. She told him that the doctor told her to take it easy. But he pulled her out of bed to pull weeds. I am so glad that she got support from his CEO and her daughter. They helped her with the attorney to divorce him. I am glad that she did not died. He still did not get the point. He blamed her for his transfer and demotion. He only cares for hisself. He does not need to be married or get close to kids. If he has a girl, I cannot imagine how he will treat her.

If men were the ones who had to carry a pregnancy they would have probably figured out how to "Matrix" one for free by now lol

Why are some people so clueless in this day and age??? I was lucky I had 3 children with no problems. My sister not so much, she had 2 miscarriages and lost a twin at birth, my daughter also had difficulty with pregnancy. All women are different. Why can't men understand not everyone is the same, even men are different(no 2 have the same size parts🤣🤣). Geeshhhhhh people are dumb now days.

For goodness sake - get your sound balanced properly. The men always shout, and the women is too whispery and subdued in tone.

I was pregnant and gave birth four times and each of my pregnancies was different. You can’t judge one pregnancy by another.

It would be a good thing a man experience to be pregnant and deliver a baby!

Do men not realize that every pregnancy’s different just like every woman is different. Also pregnancy is so hard on the woman’s body that it can take up to 2 years for you to recover from pregnancy. When I watch those videos with men trying the “period cramps” machine and it makes me laugh. Men need to understand that even periods can be so bad that some even end up in the emergency room.

My man is a gentleman compared to this idiot. He took over every chore while I was pregnant and on bedrest. And here is something weird. One of my cats noticed I was not up to snuff. And he ran to get my man. Who made sure not only to check in on me. But also got me stuff that I needed. Like a refill on liquids as well as food.

talking about women in ancient times or whatever managing pregnancy better is absolutely insane also because people used to live with their whole extended family???? like if you were pregnant and couldnt do things your mom could do them for you. or a grandmother or aunt or sister or One Of The Men Even! the nuclear family is a very recent invention thats not the natural state of humanity

He is right on one thing unless you've been declared high risk and put on bed rest going to bed and just staying there is asinine and completely lazy, you still have responsibilities even if you're pregnant
