Looks really nice. I wonder the stand can be done without professional equipment.

It requires a needle, those pliers to turn the large proprietary screws, but if it explodes, it will very hard to put it back

I remember upgrading my iMac G3 to a G4 processor. I mean, I paid for someone to do it.

Great project! Do you know how much weight does the arm supports? Any estimate?
@ToolsElectroDIY5 күн бұрын
The original 15” monitor is 2200 grams. This iMac version has a maximum of 20 inches monitor. I never used that one, but assuming they are using the same arm, which has a tension adjustment screw inside, then you can support in much higher load. Smashing subscribe stay tuned tutorial will be uploaded in the following weeks.

Attach an iPad Pro and hide a Mac Studio in the base!

Mac mini barely fits and you have to remove the case. I don’t think Mac studio is a good option.

It will not break all devices in the old days. Maybe it will affect the CRT monitors.

Well, I will definitely paint it white after the design is finalized. It’s more of a prototype to give you guys a quick update.
