Hey, thanks for the video! I have exactly same issue with cable ripped it exact spot (it's almost like they intentionally place the thinnest part of it eactly where it's most likely to be ripped while opening lol). Do you think it's possible without the heat gun, by just soldering? Also, do I get it correctly that the button would still work even without this, only the touch ID won't? Is it possible to just leave it as is if touch ID is not really needed?

If you don't need touch ID you can just use any aftermarket compatible cable. You are doing this to preserve Touch ID.

How could I clean a dirty lcd screen? The digitizer is clean but the inside is dirty I tried to clean it but I couldn’t get all the dust off the screen completely.

Yeah, that is old video. but quick 300 works. you are doing it too long. nowadays, I just use soldering iron.

Can you use another original cable from a junk ipad and only loose touch Id.

you can use any other cable as long as the ic chip is there thats what you need to keep
