whats the tempature for the soldering?

This varies a lot depending on your equipment. I generally keep my iron at 450C and hot air 430C @70 LPM using an 8mm nozzle for this repair.

Some of the silver things came off the board when I tried taking off the old charging port is there a fix for this? Or am I out of luck?

If you tore off some of the pads they may need to be restored using micro jumper wires. It's not an easy procedure but can be done. Some of the pads are ground/redundant so it really depends on which ones are missing.

I use a CPB heating mat. There is now a link in the video description. The important thing is to get the right amount of heat. Enough to make the adhesive pliable but not so much that you damage the battery or LCD.

Fuck. That cable that you taped and said it's known to commonly break, yeah, that thing broke by the slightest pull.. also I don't have any of the stuff you used to connect the port to the battery so I winged it, also not a good idea. iPad still doesn't charge, unlucky. But maybe I will finally learn to watch the entire video before trying anything myself..
