Specs don't make a phone great. My history with the note series phones have been consistent... works great for a few months and then lags and freezes and resets. With the amount of ram they pack I would think it would be like butter. A great user experience makes a phone "great". Software integration makes a phone "great". My wife's iphone 6 is almost a year old and works just like it did out of the box and better than my phone with twice the mount of "specs". Going to switch to to this phone when it comes out. (This is all my opinion)

This comment deserves 1000 likes. This is the reason why I switched to apple 3 years ago. I bought the Galaxy S3 with it's "Quad Core Processor" Hoping to go brag to my friends how my Samsung was faster then their apple iPhone 5. When all I did was get embarrassed because all it was doing was lagging and freezing! And the iPhone 5 had less than half the specs!! To this day I still use an iPhone 5s which is still as fast as the day I bought it. And people still argue and say that androids are better. Stupid idiotic people who don't understand the integration between software and hardware is what makes the phone good.

I don't think people really understand how the 3D touch (basically renamed Force Touch) works. I didn't really either with the Apple Watch at first, but it's actually really neat. The screen is PRESSURE sensitive, not hold down the screen longer. It doesn't seem that impressive, but it really is and I see it's potential. It looks to me like it's going to be the next thing that all other flagship smartphone makers are going to be integrating into their future phones.

Am I the only one who only last year got an iPhone 4s and still has it and still likes it, and idk is appreciative? I always thought either until it breaks, or until your contract is up you can wait for the "newer" version. My sister upgraded to a 5s and hers broke the first time she dropped it... They're making them skinnier and skinnier... The only thing / reason I would really upgrade is for a better battery power. But other then that? I'm satisfied.

I really love how apple phones evolve and being the foundation of innovation for smartphones. Yeah don't have the superior hardware in specs but their software makes their phones great. Love the 6s upgrades! I was planning to get a samsung galaxy 6edge plus but now I think ill go for the 6s plus. The edge+ was a better phone compared to ip6+ in my opinion but now this 6s+ holds the throne.

This year phones are releasing with lesser features right. Actually notes already have pressure sensitivity and they did the peep before with the pen. The s6 edge plus should be the most least boring phone released, the z5 standard also not much new features, HTC m9 same, Moto X is cheaper. Oh and note have live memo and PDF fill in. Not bad right. I really like this 3D Touch which they should have called force touch. At least it gives shortcuts to maps for direction to home straight from the home screen, and swipe back to previous apps, like windows 8.

And now pop out phones with 5" and 6" screens and probably soon a stylus as well. But I won't deny Samsung copies and insults Apple either, they clearly do. But they would never say their product was useless because they manufacture 80% of the parts in an iPhone. So they would never insult their own products. Yet Apple clearly does.

"new". I checked the Android SDK and the Environment variable had the 3d touch first. its called by getting the pressure applied. its Environment.get pressure() and returns a float. A float is not something that stays above water, but an integer that is not complete number (its a decimal at most). So much for new.
