I bought an iPhone XS Max off ebay and it showed that it had 96% battery health but I would have to charge that phone 5+ times a day... so i sold it as a broken device..I suppose this is what the jerk who sold me the phone did.. I really would love to see a explanation as to why a new phone from apple is registering battery health at 85% if it clearly isnt. Is it a bug or is it something apple implemented to save tbe battery? For example my samsung has a setting thst allows me to charge it only to 85% and then it stops and holds it at 85% to prolong the life of the battery. Is this maybe what apple is doing as well? After all battery health is calculated based upon the capacity so what im saying makes a little sense but should be something apple informs customers on.

P.s. a funny side note about my Samsung s23 ultra is when I run battery tests on it its consistently testing almost 500mah above the average rating for my phone and gives me a battery health percentage of around 108% lol I just thought that was funny and I should mention that. Ive run the test on several apps including one highly regarded for accuracy and its the same everytime.
