I've always wondered if Jon is only talking about Unbox Therapy (Jon had a beef with UT long ago) or also Rettinger. Many many times Jon has mentioned youtubers buying views and giving money away on their videos (like Rettinger does), even last episode he mentioned this also. What makes it weird for me is that Rettinger is close friends with Andru Edwards and Jon is close friends with Andru, so the whole bashing and making indirect comments again and again about a close friend of a friend makes it weird for me. Jon has been many times on Andru's and Rettinger's podcast also

@@MatiasP-791 I only recently started watching this podcast so haven’t seen the eps where Jon is on the show but you might be onto something. That said, It would be very hypocritical of them to judge Unbox Therapy for viewbotting when their friend Jon clearly does the same thing

You have to think about it Jon rettinger and unbox therapy have been out way longer and have been doing tech videos about things more than just apple and keep people engaged. People don't always have to comment and just watch the videos. Sounds like they are haters to me. The great thing to do would be have these people on the show and really find out. People want to see more than just apple products. That's why they have so many views and maybe what they are talking about is straight to the point and people don't have a reason to comment because every question they had was answered in the video.

If these are indeed the colors for the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro, they are without a doubt the worst set of colors for a set of iPhones i can remember. They are so bad, im convinced these can't be the final colors. Often times the leaks for iPhones are wildly different from the final product(MacBook Air colors, iPhone 13 colors, Apple watch colors, etc).

Lew(Unbox Therapy ) is based in Canada, but KZbin is based in the USA. So shouldn't KZbin be forced to abide by those rules?

I was apart of teampixel for a year as well in 2022. I did not have that requirement nor any requirements to post. If I did, all I had to do, probably for FTC purposes, tag the Google pixel account and two hashtags. That's it. It was a cool experience! I too agree that this is getting blown way out of proportion.

I think it’s so cute that Jon and Sam think the FTC will be able to enforce this social media false indicator rule and those cheating will stop because of this threat… I think it will take someone being caught and punished for it to change. I am glad it’s now a rule/law though

What made Lew go down this path? He was at the top of the KZbin mountain for like a decade. LewLater was extremely successful, fancy studio, fun videos. Podcast mysteriously goes away. Videos stop. Nothing left but a creepy ghost town of bot viewed obscure tech products. It’s so chilling.

I'm a little excited about allowing other wallets actually. I don't know why Apple Wallet doesn't have this already, and my cynical side says it's because they want you to just set their Apple Card as the default, but all I want is to have my default card change based on gps location so I can use REI card at REI, Costco at Costco, amex blue at grocery. No idea why this isn't a thing yet, and I think a 3rd party will do it, and then apple will add it.
