Asus has been pushing their Pro Art laptops recently in a big way specifically into Apple HW/SW reviews and everytime it tilted the review into "it's awesome, but ...". In one case a german youtuber that usually is very open minded and neutral looked at still quartebaked and way far from finished Apple Intelligence features and in the mids of trashing it, he made his Asus plug, specifically riding it's awesome capability with AI stuff. Must be coincidence ....

@@Hurbie_53 Before I ordered my 32-core M4 Max MBP today, (hey, Amazon are letting me spread it over 5 months interest free, who am I to deny myself this xmas gift?) I looked at that Pro Art. Too many downsides, not least of all that US-style Return key. I've had a keyboard like that, and forever clicked the slash key instead of Return. Terrible keyboard.

Depending on what application you work on. If your applications can take advantage of the RTX 4060 then go for the Asus. Apple M4 Max / Pro just dominate the lower thread count application such as Adobe Photoshop & illustrator. It runs so much faster than any other laptop I've ever used including the HX 370 and Intel Core ultra 285K. I love the form factor of the PX13, it's quite a bit smaller than the macbook and can be folded if thats what you want.

you can find a older apple silicon series for under 2k, just make sure its 32gb ram+, and regarding the G14, (if ur oab ASUS ROG Zephyrus) it is quite literally perfect lmao, ben recommended it as well for video editing on his best video editing laptops video, tho he did put it at mid-range, honestly i'd consider it a high range laptop, specially if you upgrade the ram to 64gb, go for it bro
