Doing this disables true tone functionality and in some models you get display issues along the top of the display. Apple is serialising many new models moving forward. It will be impossible in the future to do anything. Do not buy macs.

Could not agree more.. They are over priced, overcomplicated machines, that are deteriorating from model to model, in regards to both lifespan, general quality and repairability.. these three often connected, in overly complicated designs, to keep ppl from repairing..

Great video. You didn't show how to wrap the screen ribbon around the backplate thingy. It's confusing how it wraps around to align the holes. Any suggestions?

was just screwing the bracket for lid angle sensor back down and the top of the screw broke off, I wasn't using any excess force, so lmao be careful these overpriced and over engineered computers come with cheapo screws
