The question is: What type of work you do on a Macbook ? For programming or video editing every inch counts and more powerful machines are needed.

There's not a single MacBook which would be good enough for my kind of workload, that's why I use my M2 Ultra Mac Studio for it and my MacBook Air I use only for emails, web, chat support etc., simply light tasks

Very informative video. I’m having a tough choice between a 15” M2 MacBook Air with 16gb ram and 512gb storage for $1439 vs a 16” M1 MacBook Pro with 16gb ram and 1TB storage for $1549. I am a remote worker so portability is important but the laptop will be main viewing screen (cheap dual monitor setup) and system power is also important. What would you say? Thanks!

Terrific review and straight to the point. I actually returned the 14 MBP because it felt small. Picked up the 15 Air 16gb ram TB HD. The main reason like yours was the bigger screen for my aging eyes. The thinness, portability, power, capability and battery for me is the perfect Mac. This is my third MacBook and I think my favorite!

You should get macbook pro for coding which requires speed and more memory; processing at fast speed. Macbook Air is just basic entry level. I am a Windows user and I have i7. I don't need high end Mac but I need high end Windows.

I really liked your review. Question: I recently got a 2021 M1 Macbook Pro 16 inch 16gb 512 gb for $1329, cheaper than the M2 Macbook Air 15 inch specced out 16gb ram 512 gb ram, which is more expensive at $1499, refurbished. I am thinking of returning the 16 inch Pro because it's too heavy but I also need power for coding and graphic design as well as some video editing using Davinci Resolve at least 3 times a month. It's interesting that the Pro is cheaper than the Air. But I am still thinking of the weight. What would you suggest?

Im an engineering student in a top french school and most of time i need to travel my mac to library, classes. Dont care of power, i only need RAM. But screen colors and vivacity is good to me. I have the Air 15 right 8Go now. I do care about weight and typing confort. Air is so much better than my MBP 2017 15 touchbar (keys are broken). But i dont know if i should return the Air for a 24Go model. Or if i should buy a 16 Pro m3 pro 36Go Ram for home and then a 15 Air only 16Go of Ram. Or even a 13 Air. I fear i dont use MBP but i dont want the air to be my home workstation, i like to show it too much outside i would keep its battery in good shape. What do you advise me to do ? Also Silver is a safe choice for me and really eye catching even if Starlight is cool and would change a litlle.

She bought a M1 Max 64GB for just email, zoom and web browsing. Now complaining. lol Max processor sucks power even when you use it for emails. I love my 16inch for the power it has, far better cooling, so many ports, display, sound etc.. M2 Air is way overpriced simple computer with basic 15 screen. Everyone is not a light user and not feeling weak to carry 600g more..
