I am a 1st Year B. Tech CSE student in India. So, I am going to get my first Macbook. I have been a Windows user lately but I am planning to get a Macbook. But I am confused between M1 AIR, M2 AIR and M2 Pro 13/14. And which storage will you recommend me 256GB or 512GB? And see I am planning to use it for a long run for a minimum of 4 years. So, looking from productivity perspective which one would you recommend? I would be using it for Coding, Programming, DSA, Machine Learning, etc. Please recommend me the best option. And I checked the M1 Pro 512GB. Apple doesn't sells it anymore in Inida. They have removed it from Apple India website. And the M2 Pro is quite out of my budget. I have a budget of around 1-1.5 lakhs. So, kindly help me and tell me which one should I get.

m2 air best one m2 pro is highly professional get the 256 gb variant and buy external ssd (suggestion- t7 samsung) and buy a otg converter and a pair of keyboard and mouse and you’re all set for 4 years btech

I can open my MacBook Air M1 with one hand only some times I bought it 15 days ago only when I asked the service centre they said that it is brand new right now so hinges will remain a little bit tight right now afterwards it will become easy to open with one hand . Please reply me is everything correct or should I visit another service centre and I will get a solution there ?

Do not worry. Your Macbook's absolutely fine. The hinge mechanism is moderately stiff on every Macbook. It will not loosen up with time, in turn, you'll get used to open it with one hand. P.S: Do not apply too much pressure while opening as it might damage the camera module or your screen even.
