Plus, there were work documents. I'd be suing the hell out of her, for not allowing me to access and recover them (and my personal stuffs), even make so the company would sue for damages if she destroyed them.

When my mother remarried I was 8 and excited to get more grandparents aunt uncle dad (my father was murdered when I was 5) I got none of that my new “dad” wasn’t horrible however his other family members were and are , thankfully I still had both my real sets of grandparents and got my brother and sister twins

There are companies in the US who will decrease people's work until they quit, especially if they are paid by the hour. Very common in retail jobs.

tolerated 8 years of silence... What a doormat not to say or do anything about it. I would have been gone in no time. Or the old bag would have out on the street.
